Yeah:))) But the MDZS/The Untamed universe is pretty big and vague. Not many things have been properly explained so who knows, maybe we will have more stuff from this series after the 2 movies. :)) Still want to know how Jingyi is an actual blood Lan:))) because he is the most unLan ever! Character wise he is as mischievous as a young Wuxian:)) Ooorrr, they stop and begin with the third novel of the author: HOB-Heaven's official blessing (which will be a roller coaster at a whole different novel because of the depth of feeling the novel has - the manhua has already started releasing and it's BEAUTIFUL!!)

No plot or other details yet, for the Fated Journey movie. Just some pics that Nie Huaisang's actor has posted on social media. The pics have: alive Mingjue, child!Huaisang, teenager!Mingjue and some pics with the whole Nie sect starting to travel somewhere (maybe a nighthunt?). Regarding the nr. of movies..Tbh, not sure, I've read sources that said 3 movies..other even said 6!! movies. I'm not sure if the 3 movies idea is official as of yet :(

As of now, no summary or plot has been given, only the poster and some small clips and photos. In my opinion this will be based either in the future with NHS having flashbacks regarding his childhood and brother, up to his death, or in the past, prior to WWX resurrection in The Untamed. Why? Because the photos that the actor of NHS posted are also with children that act like child!Huaisang and teenager!Mingjue. We will probably see Nie Huaisangs' love for his big brother, what determined him to have revenge, maybe even how he discovered JGY 's acts. Some Chinese fans expect to see also why NHS is determined not to take up to the saber ways of the Nie clan and prefer fans and arts over fighting!:) For some reason, the novel is more likable for NHS's character! Because in the novel, Huaisang actually tries to stop Mingjue when he has Qi deviation, and is stabbed in the arm and leg. And prior to this, Mingjue trashes his room and burns all his trinkets/fans/art.

Hehe~Hope my intuition is right, but I believe that we'll have engsub pretty fast!With how popular the series was and still is, we'll either have official subs on the iQIYI app as soon as the release, or someone will be kind and lovely enough to sub it for the rest of the international Suibian clan:)) Being an online movie it's even faster as we don't have to wait too much. I do think that they will try to milk the MDZS idea as much as they can, before people lose their interest, so yeah, The other movie will most likely be released/or start promoting, as soon as the promotion after The Living Dead is over.

;D Yeah! I still wonder about that actually! When the actor of Wen Ning released some photos on weibo, he said something like this: "Finally, I can post this!". So it's possible that the movie was actually filmed just short after they finished filming The Untamed, and not after they finished the release of the drama. Not sure yet, though. The iQIYI website also shows the release date and we can find it at the Coming soon section!! The second movie, Fated Journey is also finished filming, so maybe we'll be able to see it also this year, maybe December!!

New info: Based on the Douban website (which I think it's as official it can get), the release date is 7 Nov 2019! Summary of the plot is also out and it looks like it will take place after The Untamed drama ending.

Just as a heads-up, the 29 October date might be invalid. There are some Chinese websites that say that the movie will release 4th Nov. Also, the movie will be available online, on the QIY website, not in Cinema and sometimes, for popular shows, the website also provides english subs foe viewers:)

Yes, also BL novel, but much longer. It was released after GMC as it is the last novel the author has made.

A few recs from my personal favorite Cdramas: 1.)Nirvana in Fire 1&2 (slow-burn, brotherhood, historical/fantasy genre; just need to be patient as it will take a few episodes to pick up the pace). 2.)The Lost Tomb 1&2 and sequel Tomb of the Sea +prequel:Mystic Nine ( modern drama, tomb-raiding theme, lots of mystery! Season 1 is short and kinda sucks in execution, but season 2 is perfect. I actually watched Season 2 before Season 1 and understood perfectly the plot.) 3.) Fighter of the Destiny (Luhan, ex-member of EXO is here so you may know him if you know kpop; historical/fantasy setting, good plot which fails short a lill'bit because of too many episodes, but still good overall.) 4.) Guardian (as with The Untamed, there are BL undertones, brotherhood, modern setting with a fantasy genre)

Unfortunately yes...Next year there is the release of the donghua for the 1st novel of the author: The Scrum's self saving system which already has a trailer online and a manhua also (which is in hiatus due to some homophobic comments from an employee who was working in the same company which was doing the drawing for it..) But who knows..China never gives release dates until 2 weeks at most. The Untamed was released and at that time there wasn't even a trailer available:))) Maybe we will be lucky and they will push the release sooner:) Hopefully!

Since I know that some people who watched The Untamed/MDZS also read and are interested in Heaven's Official Blessing, the author's other novel: The official manhua/comic will begin releasing starting 19 October!! No news for donghua though; just a possible date in 2021 or late 2022.

True! I've read on some Chinese forums (Google Translate is my best buddy recently), and apparently some fans suspect that NHS actually saw his father Qi deviate also when he was barely a child, and due to that, he avoided as much as possible saber training and cultivating his core. Since we can suppose that the mothers of both Nie brother were also dead, NMJ took the responsibility over his half-brother who was then a child, and acted as a father figure who NHS admired (and was scared at the same time:)))Tbh, all these hypothesis that I have read, makes the novel itself 100% more perfect that it already is:))) As you said, flashbacks would be awesome!Edit: Just saw on twitter some photos from the filming set, and yasss! Hi! I watched it on WeTv under the name of Sand Puzzle, but I remember that 2 episodes weren't translated into English. I think episode..hmm 47 and maybe ep 50. I think there was a 3 min scene between Zhang RiShan and Dr Liang from episode 50 translated on their official youtube channel though:))
