I just don't get why the ML just keeps taking his sister's insults like seriously if I was him I would have lashed…
No idea, maybe he's still channeling that little boy she used to torment. Maybe he's calculating for the right moment, maybe he knows he has more to lose by antagonizing her than she does.
I wanna talk about it. Do you think the bed scene ended up getting implied and not shown? Because that kiss *had*…
OK, add me as a second. Because wth if it ends up being implied --comeonnnnnnnnn--
Seriously tho, I know people complain about how much the hands are featured in these scenes, but her hands are magic here. Can't wait for the bts for this one
I really wonder how Won had planned to get out of that arranged marriage, and shame on him for not coming out with that truth bomb when he first told Sarang she wasn't his gf (a lie by omission, imo. He's a green flag, but this was a dumb move, but that served no purpose for the romance to develop, I guess)
He is so considerate and appreciative of those that show him regard, then you have his father. I can't quite figure out their relationship.
On the one hand, he doesn't care for him, walks away from him, doesn't care to meet his expectations, forget him when getting gifts from Thailand (and gets grandma the whole store!)
On the other hand, he shows his father that he indeed fulfilled his dream for the hotel, making all these people happy and fulfilled. He brought home that delicious meal for him. Maybe that was all a coincidence and not his intentions.
I guess his plan may have been to just ignore the arrangement and pretend it wasn't happening and hope it would go away? Maybe he put the responsibility on the girl when he told her he wasn't interested? Still.. How to deal with dad?
Oh dude I didn't connect the trauma angle of having Sa Rang in the same outfits and everything! That's a really…
Right? Like taunting him with his mother and her fate wasn't enough to take him out of the picture (tho he always insisted he wasn't interested in the hotel, so her threats didn't land) she tormented the crap out of him bc of his mother since childhood, this is very on theme. She suspected about the relationship but didn't have confirmation, so I'm not sure the wedding talk was part of the plan, but it could've been, too. Get him through his trauma, get both of them through the wedding threat. It's a good gamble, look at how they both reacted. Man, I feel so terribly for both, but wow for the actors, they played out this incredibly tense scene so well.
At this point we don't know she has anything to do with it, could be their parents run amok.
Exactly. I'm glad they brought her back, her appearance earlier was so random otherwise. And you know in cases like this it is all orchestrated by the parents
I loved how long they lived out their honeymoon phase, it was a very sweet fantasy, devoid of consequences or external influences. Now we get to the juicy bits - a drama isn't much of a drama without drama, imo.
Sarang had been set up as a pawn in this fight from the get-go - from Hwaran hiring and promoting her, to using her for pr following her rescue, forget it - her finally connecting the dots back to Won was a matter of time. She found his true weakness and is now on a warpath.
That dinner encounter has her written all over it. I'm not sure if she knew there would be talk about marriage, that may have been a coincidence. But she certainly capitalized on Won's trauma, having her dressed the same as the smiling creeps that tormented him. On top of that, because of the small talk with the other older man, Sarang was forced to plaster the type of fake smile that traumatized him so much, all the while Won couldn't do anything but scan her face.
The guy is paralized, I don't blame him. His expression is very subtle, has a look of worry and pain. And she is horrified, rightly so. I can't wait to see how the scene progresses next weekend.
omg the SKINSHIP. I swear, this has set new standards for skinship and chemistry and I will never be the same…
I noticed how little time they had left before the end of the episode and thanked god they didn't cram what would've come had they not been interrupted. *That* would've been peak disappointment if they rushed them or cut the scene there, after the long kiss scenes they've had π I can wait till 12 and get rewarded for our patience π₯²
They do, they're just not Hollywood style, and that's perfectly fine. The best outcome would be like Coffee Prince, and seeing this is supposed to be old-school-ish, one can only hope π I'm good with whatever, just wishing the romance doesn't flatline since they have so many hours to go still
But seriously, tho, everyone's waiting for that bed scene that certainly has to be coming, right?? Like how else do you continue building the romance where there are freaking SIX episodes left??
