Exactly, they likely awarded his range, not necessarily the performance (imo, because it wasn't super impressive other than he gained muscle ~ btw this was the first thing that took me out of the story, they first show him as a hostage in a human trafficking ship, presumably he'd been in some sort delirium due to memory loss for how long... And he kept his body that toned? Hehe okay. It felt very 1980s Sylvester Stallone). But maybe I'm confused and the award wasn't just for the veil, and instead his seniority, general ability, bringing prestige back to mbc dramas, etc. Loaded with significance, imo. And that's fine, but just on acting in the veil, eh, okay. I adore him and am happy for him, I'm just so not impressed with the veil, I was bummed when I dropped it.

Yeah as soon as his win was announced, it was a given. They weren't leaving ngm in the lurch, these drama awards are heavy with significance, so, regardless of buzz, junho was a dark horse for it (e.g., too idol, too hoobae, too early in his career, too blah blah..) I am surprised, however, that Seyoung wasn't called out as a contender as Junho was, that was a bit unfair.

I love ngm and loved them together in chief Kim, but in the veil he didn't impress me at all.. He was like the Hulk in business suits, and maybe because I dropped it about halfway, I didn't think he came across as oh yeah he deserved the win for it 🤷‍♀️ but for other dramas, no doubt!

I wouldn't be surprised if they are nominated. Wins are a different story, the competition will be so much broader, but they do seem to award more on merits rather than deference or ratings, so 🤞

They were back in May, I guess they were delayed a little while. For dramas from May til q1 next year expect something similar timing-wise next yr. I don't think they've announced yet the date
