There was a flashback scene in episode 32, where he gave XM a part of his Primordial spirit in a form of a sphere. So I think he entrusted that to him. That's why I also think XM said to CK "are you not afraid that I will actually kill you?", because he practically entrusted his life to him.
I think when the time is right, after he is done with his mission, then he will return back to his immortal body.
I'm going to flip tables *internally* if they make CK forget about XY(CH) again... 😫😫 I don't want to go through that whole process again so I am really hoping that won't be the case!! ðŸ˜ðŸ˜
I also want a satisfying ending for this CP too, because they really, really deserve it!! but I felt like nowadays…
That's my dream ending for them too. But I am not putting my hopes up too high to get disappointed. They can always surprise me in a positive way. We all deserve a proper and happy closure for them!

There was a decent one in their 4th tribulation (where they went and got the hint to find out what happened to Immortal Li, but IQIYI cut that one out....So... I don't know anymore at this stage if we will...Get any. So far their kiss is not that bad (compared to the others I've seen previously and vocally wish was done better)
If CK was killed, his parents would investigate this matter personally. So HX would have been in disadvantage.…
Some part of me, still wish that HX despite his selfish wishes, he still did care for his little brother even if it is just a tiny bit, because CK really did care for HX in the past (it is just sad to see that HX doesn't care for CK at all you know). But anyways like I said I wasn't trying to speak up for HX, just saying what comes to mind at that moment, when I was watching that scene.
But you do have a point. In the end, HX does feel like someone who wouldn't do anything that doesn't benefit him...

From his perspective, he really could have killed CK 30,000 years ago, instead of erasing his memories.
I mean look at what happened to Immortal Li, he found out something he shouldn't have and HX was quick to kill him without sparing a moment, even when he could have done the same by erasing that little portion of what Immortal Li found out that he shouldn't have...
For CK, he erased away a BIG portion of the memories and the times he spent with CH in the past...
So to some extent I think that HX did value CK life to not kill him on his end, he didn't value the same for Immortal Li hence poor Immortal Li got the tragic outcome.
Still, HX is a selfish bastard at the end of all this, although he may be seen as a good written villain there.
