tbh with all those bs ending that seems like a popular trend to cdramas these days, the ending here satisfied…
This is why I am satisfied and content with the ending. I kept my hopes low since I know we can't get those really full closure ones like LAR back then but this one all I asked for is them to not end it in last minute and have some interaction . We got more than that , it's not last minute , they have some interactions and we get to see a last kiss between them, and you can see how happy both of them were. That's enough to satisfy me. I didn't doubt because to me YH truly did come back and it's real.
Although I admit when Youku put "The End" scared me for a while since I wanted to see a one last kiss for TianHui before it ends and we got that..What's most of all it was a good wrap up for all side characters

You don't have to hahaha. In the novel extra we get to see their married life and YH gave birth to their child. During the pregnancy stage and how TY was taking care of her. It was really a bliss. I have not read the whole novel but I did for that chapter since someone commented it in here saying it was really sweet so I jumped to read that extra chapter on my end XD

I know what you mean, I wanted them to have it longer and Youku almost trolled us when they put "the end" and I was like.... "no! I want to see their kiss which I know they filmed!" So I'm thankful they gave us one before the actual end

And for HMH most favourite scene he said there's two.
One of them is when the Life Exchange spell was activated. He said that during that scene when they were playing the characters, and how ZY played as YH and show how much she didn't want TY to go through with the life exchange spell, he was really touched in that scene.
And he also talked about the scene after he saved her and brought her to that lake and how he told her before he "dies" those words that we love, and how he's unwilling to accept that they can't be given a chance to get that sort of life (not reconciled at this fact etc), as HMH was saying that, Riley said "so sweet” (真甜) and he made the heart gesture with his hand lol
And Riley was saying, "I asked him(HMH) what his most favourite scene and he just answered it and brought in the fact that Zhou Laosi acted very well, which touched him(HMH), so sweet!"
