I am starting to think that they like each other irl
This drama finished filming 1 and a half year ago. No one knows until they come out in the open to reveal it but I'm not going to prive into their private life.
I'm just happy they are comfortable and close with each other IRL from the clips I've seen. CP or as a close friend I love them on and off screen.
So okay, he doesn't have to tell YH before stabbing her. He doesn't have to tell her he gave her the Nine Stars.…
It's all for the script and the writing to push the plot down the misunderstanding route...
What YH minded the most is not because he took back the heart protection scale since that belongs to him anyways, that's why after she found out why he had to take it back in an emergency she understood his reasoning...
What YH minded the most is that to her, she thought that her life didn't matter to him, that he just took it and left. She didn't know that TY gave her the Nine Stars that protected her in his place. All this time she thought it was BXS who took her to the Dark Lord to save her life when it was TY who ensured that she would not die, the Dark Lord didn't do anything except that when BXS brought her there he practically sold her soul to the Dark Lord because of this whole "3 months" time frame the Dark Lord put onto her....
That's why when the Dark Lord entered into her mind eye he made that comment saying the Dragon King(TY) really does love her since he actually gave her something so valuable. But the Dark Lord didn't tell the truth to YH so she didn't know the truth about it yet. In her mind at that time what she can't forgive or open her heart to TY again, even when she understood why he had to take his heart protection scale back was not because he took the heart protection scale, it was because she thought TY didn't value her life, when truth was he did value her life.
This is also why later when she found out she was really angry at him telling him why didn't he told her this sooner... He didn't tell her that he gave her his Nine Stars was because (he said it), he's afraid that she wouldn't accept it. Knowing YH, she wouldn't have accepted it because he literally traded in his life force/immortality for her... But truth is that TY is willingly give it to her , even if she didn't know the whole truth.
As for the whole "not communicating" where he say to her that he will be back after he took it...Well if he said that....I doubt that they will go down that misunderstanding route since TY told her he will be back meaning the one thing that caused her to misunderstanding him wouldn't be present to push forward that plot point to go down that path
"I will be back for you" = I have intention to save your life.
Therefore, if YH knew that she wouldn't have misunderstand TY for not caring about her life and we wouldn't have the later developments and story to build on.
This is not the characters fault but from writing perspectives I get that it is needed to happen like this for the later story to take place for their developments

But I still want to see TY being the one to chase after YH and earn back her love and forgiveness though.
They both deserve a happy ending at the end and I sure hope they get that!!
