In TTEOTM defense I am defending TTJ since LSS has hurt TTJ so much more ... I can never like LSS on my end because of her unequal love towards TTJ. To me TTJ love her more than she loves him. At least the TTJ we came to love never intended to kill her BUT LSS would kill him and have attempted to kill him urgh!

If TY told her that would have been ideal but we wouldn't be heading down that route intended by the writers .

I get if the change isn't for the better is a disappointment to novel fans since I have my fair share to how I feel with The Untamed and Song of the Moon adaptation being a Novel fan but for the drama I can only take it as a spinoff and not an adaptation...

But for TY case , in his defense, he had NO intention to kill her when he did it. His reason is understandable, which to me if there's another choice and if it weren't because of an emergency he wouldn't have done it. That scene hurts me when he stabbed her too but I don't hate him because I understand why he did it. The most important thing is he have every intention to return it back to her after he's done with SY and I find it sad because the heart protection scale belongs to him yet he have to borrow something that once belong to him...
This stabbing scene is nothing compared to TTEOTM when LSS tried to kill and she have every intention to kill TTJ in their wedding night so that is even WORSE!
Honestly if people can forgive LSS in TTEOTM when she attempted to kill TTJ, why can't people forgive Tian Yao especially when he didn't intend to kill her on his end?!

This is something he's willing to return to her as the outcome of her suffering because he failed her on his end( think he was referring to how he failed to protect her and stabbed her then :( )

If that misunderstanding is avoided we wouldn't get moments later where we see TY earning back YH love and forgiveness and we wouldn't see YH being the one hard to get later... So this plot point for the misunderstanding is pushed forward for those developments later, if you look forward to seeing those moments can we all just cut TY some slack here?!

What you're describing is an ideal way of writing the story. If it is written like that then there will not be an misunderstanding route to go down to.
We probably wouldn't have seen how much TY do later to earn back her love and forgiveness and we probably wouldn't have gotten a touching story later on when that time comes
Like I said. I don't mind the usual trope IF the writings later build on the character and pairing development to the way I like but I get why you're annoyed if you're not into those tropes on your end.
