The writers really failed to make me see her deep love for TTJ...

I actually don't blame how the original Devil God turned out (as we saw at the beginning in episode 1), since I took that as a different time line where that Tantai Jin went through a much crueler experience and LSS never came into his life and light the darkness in his heart. If there was a LSS 1.0 from that time line then that Devil God will not be as heartless and cold as he was at the beginning..
Considering his life and what he went through I can understand why he turned out that way in the end..No one was there to show him love. It's all betrayal one after another. There's no love in the original Devil God but hatred so it's understandable when compared to the Tantai Jin 2.0 that we came to love because SuSu changed him and gave him a different life experience.
Honestly if SuSu would take a HINT (I know she wouldn't because the writers won't let her...) Then she would know that the real reason why Tantai Jin (as the Devil God) created a Bore life realm for them....
And when SuSu questioned him if that's the Bore life in his mind (because he's now the Devil God), and his reply to her was expressing more concern if she like it or not. Her reply to what he said was that in question to why he (as Devil God) would like this kind of happy mortal life...?
The problem with SuSu is that to her there's only one Devil God. She never take a moment to assess the situation on her end and believed that the Tantai Jin she came to know and love will still be the Tantai Jin she love, even if he's now the Devil God... So I really like Tantai Jin reply to her question in judgment of his character that "You're not me, how do you know what life the Devil God likes?"..
I know it is part of the plot to have SuSu misunderstand Tantai Jin as the Devil God and he wanted her to misunderstand him but I really wish that she would have shown me that she still believed in him that even as the Devil God that he is now there's still good left in him and at least believe in his love for her...
When she question and doubt his love for her... The way Tantai Jin expressed it though his micro expression really hurts...
Why can't she believe in his love for her? Why can't she believe there isn't just one Devil God out there? But the Tantai Jin who now is the Devil God is NOT the same as the original devil god which lack love?

One more episode but honestly up to this episode 49, I still felt that Tantai Jin love for SuSu is stronger and deeper in a sense that he loved everything about her. But for SuSu, I know she still loves him but I don't get that same level as I felt from Tantai Jin on her...
When she questioned Tantai Jin as the Devil God... About his love for her it already revealed it she may have loved part of him as Tantai Jin but not his entirety of him. Because to her him as the Devil God is the same as the original Devil God, lacked of love and incapable of love when it's not true IMO.
Episode 39 - The original Devil God will never understand Tantai Jin feelings when he embraced his Devil God status because the difference between them is the Original Devil God lacks love/doesn't have love whereas the Tantai Jin(which we came to love) has love in him.
Even when they are the same person(as Devil God), but it is their experience that shaped them on who they turned out to be in the end.
I love the contrast how it shows the two version of them to be honest. It's an interesting highlight to point out what you go through and your experience can shape on who you become in the end.
I've got to say this, I LOVE TTJ /CJM master!!! He really believed in TTJ to the end!!😭😭😭😭 I cried in those moments too!! 😭😭😭 He was the closest to a father to TTJ!!!

At least Wei Ying had those who stand by him and believed in him even through those tough times. He's still had a tragic life though but he got his happy ending in the novel which I'm thankful for. Wei Ying does at times have a tendency to hide his pain behind that smile of his.
While Tantai Jin, his whole life is filled with betrayal... He's been betrayed left and right and I am SO DISAPPOINTED that NBY is considered among those who would betrayed him! (I used to like his loyalty before all this... The writers destroyed what I loved about him...)
Tantai Jin didn't really have anyone who believes in him or they don't firmly believes in him , their belief doesn't have consistency and that's just sad. I wanted to see someone loyal to him and will stand by his side no matter what. I wanted this person to be LSS to be honest... But alas the writers have to go down that route for the angst side of things so that's just SAD. I honestly feel so sorry for Tantai Jin on my end. It's not really a path he wanted to embrace but in the end he did it despite he knows he will be misunderstood by the one person he loves and hold dear in his heart 😭😭😭
