To me I hope it wouldn't just like how I hope and am glad they didn't have WSW and JXS kiss in the drama....

The novel is so messed up in a lot of ways, so far I am happy wih the changes so I am hoping CJD wouldn't go down that direction and keep things platonic where things can remain plantonic and focus on the romantic pair without creating anymore unnecessary LT for dramatic side of things...

Because it was said in that BTS that someone said 'don't stop' or something and according to what some people deduce from the voice it was Zhan Xuan(the actor who played GCY).

Zhan Xuan also afterwards said that "the mouth said no, but the body is showing differently.

To be honest for me their BTS 99% of the time was just them having fun and goofing around.

There was another hospital BTS (a different version) showed that afterwards ZY leaned into TXN for a hug (after they said cut) and Tian let him.

Anyways, we don't know how the actors feels in that scene since we are not them. What we can analyze is what we can see. I believe they know each other boundaries and not go over that line.

The reason I used the other BTS as an example is because in the overall they all feel comfortable with each other and know each other boundaries and TXN in real life to me is a gentleman and he tends to show more affection by revising the script in a less brutal way since he said it in one of the interview that there are some scenes which is meant to be brutal but he can't bring himself to act it out those brutal scenes since he can't bear to be brutal or aggressive on ZY.

But if these BTS is making you feel uncomfortable then you don't need to watch it. Since from the recent one that was released, I was also shocked from what I saw but because I have seen another one of that hospital BTS where both Tian and ZY was acting goofy and laughing with each other, and in their other BTS released so far they both feel comfortable with each other which ZY is shown at times to be rather shameless himself on Tian, so to me I don't think in the overall it affected ZY like some might have felt it had (how I saw it anyway)

To be honest, I was a bit surprised to see Tian slap ZY ass like that but I think it was part of the script that they're acting out. But in the end they didn't include in the drama.

But if you watched the full footage of that hospital BTS they were all laughing so I just rub it off as them just having fun or something. There was a moment when the director said cut, and Tian hugged ZY (like to comfort him or something) which I personally find sweet on my side.

Overall, these BTS can be fun to watch or not fun to watch but on my side everytime I see the BTS it really shows that Tian likes to suggest a lighter method to change the script, like that office scene when WSW said he was filthy, in the script, the director wanted Tian to react back defensively, but in the BTS, Tian just proceed to hug ZY to calm his anger since his character was upset. That was what Tian want to add but in the end he was told that he should react more defensively because of how WSW said he's filthy so CC should genuinely be upset at that. A hug will just seem odd so for me, I enjoy the little touches if they can alter the script a little to make it more sweet.

I haven't found one bts where I am uncomfortable with since their bts felt like another story and I enjoyed all their BTS moments.

Yeah I too wanted Chi Cheng to be honest about it and tells Da Bao his true feelings deep down and reassured Da Bao that he only meet up with WS because he wanted to find the truth from that incident.

I hope in the next episode he will tell him, even when he is in his drunken state.

How we all wish they work together and have better communication out in the open, but I felt like it is intended this way by the writers to build on the angst which lead into character and pairing development for the two once this is all over.

He had opportunities to tell Chi Cheng the truth but he chose not to.

Yes, he is afraid of losing Chi Cheng because he loves him so much.

But if we are going to be honest here, if he had told Chi Cheng the truth at that time when he is being honest with his feelings, Chi Cheng would have forgiven Wu Shuo Wei on his end and that break up arc would have potentially been avoided.

In the novel, it actually hurts because even when Chi Cheng found out the truth, he asked WSW if he ever loved him, even if its for a day or even for a second. As long as WSW said yes, Chi Cheng will forget it all and forgive WSW, but at that time when WSW said it, he wasn't being honest with his feelings and have hurted Chi Cheng by saying no. So because of that Chi Cheng said to end this. What he minded the most was not that he had dated Yue Yue. As long as WSW loved him even for a second, he is willing to forgive WSW and forget it ever happened.

Now imagined if WSW have come upfront with his feelings and was honest about it, then this would have honestly been avoided

I get WSW insecurities and he was afraid of revealing this to CC because he loves him so much and don't want to lose him. This is really why they need that communication. Likewise, in a similar situation if Chi Cheng had been honest about him meeting up with his ex, then it wouldn't build on WSW insecurities since he is being honest about it. Him meeting up with his ex was not him cheating. We know why he did it if you understood what's been holding him back. I don't agree and do think he should be honest with WSW, but at the same time, I can understand because he didn't want WSW to overthink things on his side due to his insecurities.

So in the end honestly to me. It is really honestly depending on how you see it.

WSW loves Chi Cheng and has proven his love to be the perfect boyfriend, but this isn't one sided. Chi Cheng has too(but he goes about a different way of showing it on his end). But his love for Wu Suo Wei is just as strong. He is willing to kill his precious Huang Long for Wu Suo Wei, this speaks volumes with how much Wu Suo Wei means to him.

I am not saying sympathy for Da Bao is not justified.

I feel sympathy for him too.

But it is those comments where people just biasly judge Drama Chi Cheng to be the worst boyfriend is what annoys me, especially when what we saw how much he loves Wu Suo Wei on his end. The writer did not give us those happy domestic life before the storm for nothing.

Yes, Chi Cheng have a messy past, that's not something he could change. No one (at least not me) is judging Drama Wu Suo Wei's love for Chi Cheng.

But the lack of trust people have for Drama Chi Cheng is rather saddening to see.

I know how Wu Suo Wei feels and I also don't like seeing Chi Cheng meeting up with his ex (this is why I was iffy that GCY was the one who made it possible...) but from a rational standpoint, the only way for Chi Cheng to finally completely move on is for him to find out the truth about that incident. To me what affected him ultimately wasn't Wang Shuo since he had moved on from him. He made it clear that what he minded was that incident. The incident that caused a rift between him and his childhood friend GCY. Not Wang Shuo as a person, so it is natural why seeing Wang Shuo again would affect him that much since deep down he always wanted a clear answer as to what happened back then but never got it, and Wang Shuo ran away when he wanted that answer the most.

For me personally, I don't see it is only WSW hurting at the end of this but Chi Cheng is too.

To be honest, I actually felt sorry for both. If anything I think I feel sorry for CC more, given what I am seeing in X at the moment.

Chi Cheng being affected shows he needs closure from all this so he can get that development in the end. This was something that have been holding him back for 7 years.

I am not looking forward to seeing any of the scenes with WS in it because it will only make me want to punch him for what he is putting CC and WSW through.

Bias is unavoidable when it comes to their fav character, but to he completely bias without understanding the situation is annoying for me personally.

Neither Wu Suo Wei or Chi Cheng is perfect. They both have their flaws but as a pairing they bring out the best in each other IMO, and for me, I love them both equally

If Chi Cheng knows he was the reason Wu Suo Wei is upset, I think this will hurt CC more, since he didn't want to put Wu Suo Wei through any of this.

But I guess... we will wait and see how the future episodes unfold... I just hope that it won't drag this out lol

I just hope they won't drag on the angst arc and break up arc for a couple of episodes. It may be a few episodes but that will be a few weeks (since they only air 2 episode a week) if they drag this on 😭😭

Its rather annoying to see the fandom being divided right now, and I can guess that it will just get worst when the angst arc begins next week.

Those type of comments: "Chi Cheng can get hurt but don't hurt my Da Bao" really annoys the hell out of me.

Yes, Da Bao(WSW) will hurt, but so will Chi Cheng. Why the double standard in loving only just one over the other?

I am actually feeling sorry for Chi Cheng and how he is being treated right now.

Maybe Novel Chi Cheng deserved WSW harsh words, but can we not give Drama Chi Cheng a chance?

WSW is not the only one going to hurt, Chi Cheng will too and he will hurt even more when he found out the truth when that time comes because he loves WSW so much.

I mean, what I am trying to say is, instead of biasly embracing one side in this relationship, why can't fans just try to understand and look at the situation from both sides pov.

I may not look forward to the angst because I don't want to see my favourite couple (Chi Cheng and Wu Suo Wei) hurt from this but this angst is bound to happen for development side of things, and I will feel sorry for BOTH when that time comes.

And no，for the record, I don't think Drama Chi Cheng deserve the harsh treatment from those people who biasly look at this from one side......

Yeah since i also dont want them to be separate for a couple of episodes. Thats too much for our mental health given we have to wait a week for 2 episodes 😭

Tbh, if I can skip next week episodes then I would so I can have a couple of episodes to watch after that break up happened, but I can't so I will suffer with those in here who chases this drama weekly lol.

I think they are both hurting for different reasons to be honest. This is why a part of me cannot forgive GCY for arranging it possible for WS to meet up with CC as the opening chance for him to see CC again since WS have been back for quite some time and haven't go to see CC.

I mean I get why GCY did it, if my belief in his intention holds true but I can't help myself for being annoyed at that scene (the dillemma and conflicting feelings on my side).

Well we know it is bound to happen so it is better to be sooner rather than later to get this arc over and done with.

Totally agree! And I am also glad with the cast selection in this one especially the main 4 since they all played out their roles very well with good chemistry!

I am not saying this because I want CC and WSW to break up, but honestly this feeling of anticipating when it is going to happen so we can finally get that arc over and done with where we no longer need to worry for it, is driving me insane

I actually wouldn't mind if this happened to be ep in 15 to be honest.

Since if its going to happen anyways and it is unavoidable, I rather this to be sooner rather than dragging it out so we have more episodes to focus on their reunion afterwards when they get back together, so if this happened in ep 15(which I will doubt) then so be it. But I wouldnt mind if it is in ep 16, while we have to wait a week for the next episode 17, at least the following week is a fresh one and we have 2 episodes (17 and 18) after their break up to handle that week as a new fresh start where we can finally look forward to their reunion and have more episodes to focus on. I just want the episodes to be played out without rushing everything in the end.

I was also thinking about that and what happened in last night's episode(14).

At the beginning of the drama, when GCY mentioned WS's name in front of CC lightly like that through their conversation, he was testing his waters if he can slowly lead into that topic but because of CC's reaction towards the mentioned of WS's name and how he said to GCY: "Don't you ever mention that name in front of me ever again", so GCY just decided to let that chance go.

I think he may have tried to explained but given their bitter situation he was testing the waters to see how CC would react to it, and just by the mention of WS name he know it is no use.

Maybe that was why(and I liked to believe that was his good intention), he didn't want WS to leave and he arranged their meeting of catching up is because he wanted to use this chance and opportunity for CC to find out that truth from WS because he knows CC have been seeking or wanting to know the truth from what happened back then. If he can't explain it to CC then the only other person is WS.

Well that is me giving GCY that benefit of the doubt and the only logical explaination for his actions in Ep 14. Otherwise if not, I am annoyed at him for what he did in that ep for giving an opportunity for WS to meet CC...
