Tbh, I am not looking forward to their 'break up' arc too, but at the same time, I rather get this out of the way so we can see them back together and with more episodes afterwards to focus on their reunion.

I think Chi Cheng feelings is understandable when it happened. He doesn't care for Yue Yue at all but what he cared about was Wu Suo Wei himself and how he feels towards him.

Someone already replied to you about why Chi Cheng was angry, given that everything just escalated at the wrong timing it just became that outcome in the end.

If only Chi Cheng found out sooner, and he asked that question and Wu Suo Wei answered him honestly then this 'break up' could have been avoided.

But then again, I am looking forward to how they get back together once that is out of the way.

If you watched episode 12, what Chi Cheng said to Wu Suo Wei about how he doesn't like people lying to him and cheated him which completely kept him in the dark(like he was played with) was pretty much a foreshadowed to how he will react when he found out the truth that Yue Yue was Wu Suo Wei's ex.

So yeah get your tissues ready, we will all go through this angst arc when it happens. Just hope it won't drag out 🥲

I dont think they did since they pretty much showed us all they could without going further into details so I am content with what we got in that scene.

I just wish they didn't use too much of the extra lighting since it is rather distracting for me in watching that scene.

With that being said, Overall I am still happy with what I got on my side here

I actually really love the scene where Chi Cheng reflected on how he threatened Jiang Xiao Shuai with the 5 days time frame, because it showed from his perspective 'why' he did it.

I love the fact that his reflection on his previous action surprises even Wu Suo Wei himself since it wasn't the reaction he was expecting or prepared for.

And it was revealed that the reason why Chi Cheng did that to Jiang Xiao Shuai was what I believed was his reason before he explained it.

The fact that he completely forgot about the 5 days deadline until what Wu Suo Wei said reminded him of it shows he never intended to do what he said to JXS, but he only wanted JXS help on his end.

So I personally really love that self reflection moment from Chi Cheng how he admitted himself that what he did wasn't right but the reason why he did it as explained in that moment was understandable to me so I love that moment on my side here.

One thing I really love about Chi Cheng in episode 12 is...

But the fact that they did and omg, it was SO 🔥 🥵 WITH HOW CHI CHENG FEED THAT INTO WU SUO WEI'S MOUTH AND THEN KISSED HIM, AHH, I am literally screaming "omg, omg, omg they're really showing this!!!" We got more than what we could get, so I am impressed they actually gave us this scene!!!" I won't spoil the details to ruin the fun!!

And that part how Chi Cheng ask Wu Suo Wei to call him husband was just 😍😍😍

Ok, I admit, I really didn't think they will continue with that opening scene... 😭😭

And I was prepared to forgive them even if they didn't show me the 'details' since I know they did it in the end...

Chi Cheng and his Ex was together for 6 years.

Chi Cheng and Guo Chengyu were very close back then (like xiongdi, kind of closeness), but from what I found out through spoilers of others who read the novel was that because of that closeness, his ex was jealous and wanted to break that bond, which he made it look like he and Guo Chengyu slept together, which in the end broke that bond between Chi Cheng and Guo Chengyu, since he was betrayed by the two closest people he loved and cared for. One was his lover(now ex), the other was his childhood friend(like a xiongdi kind of closeness).

That is why, before Wu Suo Wei came into Chi Cheng's life and him falling in love with Wu Suo Wei, he will go after whoever Guo Chengyu slept with or have interest in to get back at him for what he did to him(which was a misunderstanding fabricated by his ex).

I think Guo Chengyu kept and raise snakes because of Chi Cheng since he wanted to use that in a way to compete and play along with him, which he had admitted in episode 9 that because Chi Cheng hasn't been happy all this time, he just wanted to play or compete with him(but from my side, I felt it was his way of accompanying him in that sense in this emotional journey).

One thing for sure is, although both don't admit it but it is seen they do care about each other. This was evident in episode 9 when Chi Cheng could have landed the attack or blow but he stopped. And likewise this was also seen when Guo Cheng Yu was talking to his right hand man and expresses that he was happy that Chi Cheng finally moved on from his ex (that was holding him back from that happiness).

I don't think he is against Danmei in terms of genre otherwise we wouldn't see the hints to show he actually do these promo and got the TGCF promo drink.

Since he did the VA for Jin Zixuan for a little while, I hope he also learn more about MDZS since that is my favourite danmei.

If he loves Wangxian that is even more plus points for me :D

I also agree he will be a better choice as Hua Cheng than compared to what was chosen.

Since I know that is not Wei Ying's VA when I watched the video, but it is too bad that Xia Zhi Guang isn't Jin Zixuan's VA in the end.

I do think for me, The Spirealm was what got a lot of fans to know him since we often talked about him in our fangroup on our side.

I watched the drama before reading the novel, and with how the drama ending like that really gives a bitter taste for me, so I had to jump to read the novel LOL.

I do however, love The Spirealm on my side, and how the drama was played out minus the ending RLZ character gives me a safe feeling in the drama which is plus points

No offense to ep 10 kissing scene because I did love that too(minus the special lighting and editing), but if I am going to be honest, I actually love the ep 11 kissing scene better without the overuse of special effects etc.

Ep 11 kiss just felt so raw to me, not to mention the way how they kissed passionately like that
