Agreed. I am enjoying this more than I thought I would because I love the strong female lead. She strong without…
I think the order of preference for the MLs for me is Author, Teacher, Mobster, then the actor. But I came into this show already rooting for the author. I was a little biased.
I really don't care how predictable or non predictable this drama turns out to be. Rather I feel like it has a lot heart that many dramas have been missing lately. I love the characters and the FL lead's family dynamic. I feel like the episodes fly by. It's been a really long time since I've enjoyed a Kdrama this much.
I'm trying to decide if the end of the 2nd episode is correct or if the show is throwing in some misdirection. I leaning towards misdirection because why wouldn't she recognize the gym teacher if he was really the father? But we will see.
Wow! I just finished this and this drama get's a lot bad reviews. I had a lot fun with this show. I felt like I was watching a historical comic book movie. Did everything make perfect sense? No but I didn't need it to. The one major weakness was L and how he was portrayed in the drama. I've liked him in other series but not in this one.
Where is 9.0 coming from? So unrealistic score, it is only got 6.1 in Douban https://movie.douban.com/subject/26915522/People…
So, I just checked and Ten Miles of Peach Blossom only has a 6.5 rating on Douban. It's just a number, let people rate it how they like . If you don't like it's fine but there's a lot people loving it here.
So I have watched the new Meteor Garden first - should I pas on this one or should I watch it? Just curious about…
All the story beats are the same but in a different order. It's kind of fun comparing the two. Just be prepared that Boys Over Flowers has more questionable parts in it and the bullying is more extreme. Meteor Garden toned down those elements a bit. But I think the acting is better in Boys Over Flowers.
I loved Eternal Love, watching the first episode of The Pillow Book, the timeline seems all over the place and…
It's not a continuation of Eternal Love but rather a adaptation of the novel The Pillow Book. (Eternal Love changed their story for the drama). The drama does get a lot better. Give it 5 to 7 episodes. After that the story comes together for me and I'm really enjoying.
