Show's about two points away from being mid. Its sole theme is resisting the everyday ennui of modernity, but…
The part where it seems to say 'don't become a school shooter/terrorist/dick if you feel bad 'cause others have their struggles' ended up being rather funny when the two characters driving that plot went off to commit suicide.
Main Leads are OLD, why? Ying Zhang ascended the throne as a teenager, why is it a 40-year-old man who plays the…
Chinese culture industry likely has a thin pipeline of competent child/adolescent/teenage actors. It's a bifurcation I'm starting to notice. Put simply: the younger-looking actors skate on their looks. Constantly wasting them on swoon-fests likely doesn't help.
Probably means that weighty dramas need to rely on deaging older, more competent actors regardless of audience complaints. The young'uns likely lack the heft to handle complicated roles.
You mean Jing Ke's failed assassination attempt? Yes it is in there.
Finally finished! Yes, I'm slow.
Best part of the show, I think, was the surrender of the King of Han: 'Why are you weeping. Tis but the cycle of fate; lay down your burdens, friend. Just don't rebel, or else'.

Please help.
The plotting should have been tighter than its first season. It wasn't so 4.5/10.

Season two wa matsugu susume!
Let me see.

This is a hypothesis; treat accordingly.
Three things:
1. Whoever cast the kids in this drama should be exiled to the Xiongnu frontier.
2. Whoever cast the adults should be granted 1 million bolts of silk.
3. Please (please!!!) does anyone know where I can find the full soundtrack? If I ever need to unify my country, I need the proper fuel o:

That's just trolling.
Am approve.
So good that the casting director and director need special applause. Also, Fuka Koshiba, what a gem!
Thanks!
