that is because the standard of beauty in Korean society (men and women) is extremely high, especially for celebrities. so it's no surprise that when their standard of beauty is higher than any other countries, there's a high chance that this nationality would dominate the list.

what can be done to help the other nationalities shine more is by mass voting, that's it.

Maybe you can write another article that explains the glaring inaccuracies or accuracy of NK people as depicted in SK drama/movies, such as the currently airing Crash Landing On You (when it finishes).

Many people are very interested to be more accurately informed about this subject but it seems like the little knowledge we have so far from drama/movies are very much dramatized.
