When I started on this drama have already told myself don’t be picky on plot/script cos I really wonder if full body plastic surgery and liposuction could have such a short recovery period that she could attend her own 49 days prayer ceremony looking like she does.

I know the drama wants to portray her as an ahjumma housewife who dedicated 8 years of her life being a slave to the parasite in-laws but I was hoping for more character growth once she manage to pull herself together. She wasn’t uneducated as it was mentioned she went to college and I think a judo champion at national level.
Was really rooting for her hence forced myself to watch all the episodes waiting and waiting….

I’ve also been hoping for a better remake. FL should remain strong despite staying true to her character and make more use of her judo skills especially on the evil villains that bully her. I’m frustrated that I don’t get to see her beating them up when she manage to get out of victim mode.
Also, she has a mum and best friend but not much interaction shown so you can’t feel anything when you watch.

Maybe you should just watch the last episode for proper closure. Show got too draggy and if it’s 16 episodes may have been better.
I persevered as I kinda enjoyed the comedic and cringey moments of ML and FL especially their exaggerated complimenting of each other.
Other characters in the drama despite their screen time does not seem to make me care what happens to them.
Scriptwriter failed to make supporting characters matter. I can’t even feel the closeness between mother and daughter.

If you like Bai Lu you can try watching Lucky's First Love and Arsenal Military Academy.

If you don't mind watching FL who's allergic to her own tears you can try watching Love Is Sweet.

Maybe @31363 needs sleep cos she/he has been binge watching TBW like everyone else and is kindly advising everyone to do the same.
We need to build up stamina to re-watch without sleeping when the eng subs are finally out on official channels.

Maybe you can re-watch your own favourite drama to fill your time.

I dropped it cos the memory loss part dragged too long and getting too ridiculous. At times I'm wondering if drama is about them being together in past life and since reincarnation not allowed in drama they had to make it seem like the ML couldn't get out of his role like in the drama they acted in.

I only watched a clip of him singing and he can sing very well.

He has beautiful expressive eyes too

Sadly, this drama will set the bar so high again.
Just like TLB and YAMG, after this, watching other drama may not be satisfying and leave an empty feeling.

But you do have to bear with the crappy CGI.

Yes... it is frustrating but so tempting that I watched bts, trailers and read spoilers.
I shed tears reading the novel and just watching clips of those scenes played out was really hard to bear. I'm guessing by the time I can watch with total understanding when subs are available it will be an emotional roller coaster ride.

Planning to watch after it fully aired more for YY though I did like a few of Lu Si's drama so I'm ok with the pairing if done well.
