I found a way to watch with subs, not everything is translated though, but you get a general gist. I placed my…
You deserve an A for effort hahaha... At most I've only downloaded an app just to be able to watch but not being able to read Chinese have since deleted it and resort to waiting (im)patiently for the subs...
It's been years since I stopped watching C-dramas due to the annoying dubbing. I can't enjoy cdrama mainly due…
Some dubbing are done really badly and just grates on one's nerves listening to it. This includes the voice and lips not moving in sync and can be noticed obviously even though it may be dubbed by the actors' real voice. However, don't let it be a deterrent for you to enjoy C-dramas. P/s Maybe you can try watching C-dramas Autumn Ballad and You Are My Glory. I think it's using the real actor' voice. Jeremy Tsui and Yang Yang has such a nice voice. For actress, I like Bai Lu's voice - not sure if it's real or dubbed. But I like her voice in the dramas Love is Sweet, Forever and Ever, One and Only. Her voice was dubbed in Arsenal Military Academy.
I don't know what is meant by consent in this article. While someone asking if they can kiss you etc is sometimes…
I've given this thought after you mentioned this and agree with the example you gave. Another grey area would be kissing when the girl is either asleep, intoxicated or sick. I think in this instance, a gentle kiss on the forehead is still acceptable to me - much like kissing a person we love and care about i.e. our spouse or child. It all boils down to common sense, we should only be sleeping or getting drunk when in the company of those we trust. The only exception is when being sick (falling unconscious) in an emergency situation which may leave one in the company of strangers. So dramas which depicts the female character getting drunk whenever she's unhappy (after knowing that she can't hold her liquor) and having the male character conveniently being there sometimes makes me annoyed if it happens too often.
I think they will keep all these for later episodes; they are building up the storyline rather nicely. Right now,…
I teared up reading the novel every time at the same sad moment even though re-reading and expecting the outcome..... Makes me kinda scared to watch the drama until Part 2 is out and a real (long....) happy ending is guaranteed. But, I doubt I'd be able to hold out that long cos the temptation to start binge-watching as soon as good english subs are available will be too great to resist.
The six main roles according to official sources are the two leads. Haoqing, Sanyue, Luo Luo and Shunde fairy.…
@WK1 in case we forget to thank you - Many thanks for your effort in correcting the information at MDL and coming to Dilraba's dramas' defense with facts without fail each time. Much appreciated....
I have seen so many people coming here to ask, how is the quality of the drama. There are a few, in the posts…
I've only watched up to Ep 6 and rated all 10 to counter the haters. Had to stop watching as the dialogue is not that easy to understand without subs and I could only understand some Mandarin plus some guessing of what they're talking about as I have read the translated novel. Meanwhile, I do read spoilers here and watch video clips to get an idea of what's going on. So, I'll rate all the episodes aired 10 just to help with the rating because to me the quality of the drama is top-notch, from acting by all the cast (whether main lead or supporting), CGI, plot, costume, etc... despite the slight differences between drama and novel.
How do you thing about this hater π€£https://twitter.com/Arziaisfrench/status/1507646333389262854?t=05Bjn0D-GX-sEu-6LL6FFQ&s=19
I dislike this kind of posts but will chant this mantra to stop myself from giving them the attention they so desperately crave - Let them say their piece so that they can rest in peace....
If you are talking about those episodes that have been aired so far, I totally agree with you. Thus far, Reba's…
Agree with your comment. I like watching dramas where the supporting cast are also given a chance to shine but not overshadow the main leads while both lead plays equally important roles at different times i.e. one person's strength complements the other when it is needed.
Most cross-over dramas are the same! You just laugh and get past it. LOL! Imagine her to be like A'Dou, a smooth-cheeked…
I liked that kdrama when it aired cos the FL can pass off as a guy with her short hair and build. Was sad when read of her passing (actress name was Sulli).

Sigh... she looks so beautiful as a woman and as a man. Makes me want to see her portray a tomboy character (like Go Jae-hee in the kdrama To The Beautiful You).

Whenever we rewatch we feel sad about Sulli's passing all over again.
