I find her cringey too but once you get used to it and don't have high expectations I think its watchable.
I also like ML's voice which is so calm and soothing - not sure if it's dubbed or his real voice.

If we're interested to watch we can find ways to do it but it takes more time and effort than having the platform stream it with engsub.
We could download the video, use speech recognition for automated translation (better than nothing), etc.. And here we have some random person accusing us of being self-entitled just for requesting eng subs.

I rated each episode watched. Can understand only a bit of what is spoken but could guess as I've read the novel.
But may stop watching until eng subs are out and start Under the skin for the time being.

I watched L&R and okay with it but the number of times and amount of blood vomited by ML makes me wanna throw up blood as well. Not to mention the villain with the tagline 'all for the 3 realms' crap.
Hope TBW don't go this route.

Yes. The portrayal of Yun He's character in the novel and drama is different. I did kinda dislike it a bit as she's more manipulative in drama but this made it more realistic because with the kind of environment she's brought up in, the drama portrayal is more realistic.

Lol.. more like discrimination than racism. Discrimination against those who are chinese illiterate because we are the minority compared to the huge market in China...

I think ML is the kind where at first glance you may not find him attractive or handsome but after a while you'll find him adorable and endearing either by his mannerisms or character portrayal.

Yup. I dislike the bald guy’s character in the novel too.
