Sorry this is going to be a long rant because I've been waiting for the storyline and romance to get better but…
I FF through both 25 &26. I was hoping there would be some progress yet this continues to flounder. It’s sad really with such good actors the story is terribly uninteresting. What a waste of time
Boring, tedious, repetitive, stagnant and FF, FF, FF. Perhaps I’ll just check back in for final episode.
I’m exhausted from all three couples and characters.
The little niece is a stalker at this point and she has nothing in common with the guy she is pursuing. She tries finding out what he likes and instantly changes to love everything he likes or may like. In rl that would be a recipe for a poor relationship and she just won’t take repeated rejections for what they are, it’s pitiful, but I’m sure he’ll be madly in love with her by the end.
The playboy and playgirl couple need to get it together or NOT and the main couple specifically, Shu Yi needs to be dumped the way she runs hot and cold and how she is treating the ml in front of others. I can’t imagine a successful good looking guy in rl tolerating that more that once. What real journalist wouldn’t have determined who the real niece is by now? Did she lose all her brain cells? She is purportedly smart and thorough in her job, how can this be? She also acts as though this is her first relationship when she dated the cheater for years. So lame…

I would never be able to forgive him full stop. Forget loving him as to me he isn’t even somewhat likable. Yeah I’d want revenge but not just on the perpetrator but him as well for letting it all slide.
He didn’t really allow her to leave but he put her in the distant courtyard with NOTHING and no one to give any financial support. Technically, she could run away but I have no doubt he would come after her. He owns her in his eyes no matter what. He doesn’t love her at all. He has an obsession. He forced himself on her and she got pregnant….it’s repulsive. Who would want someone they love to be miserable and a target by all the other women he has and keeps bringing into his mansion?
He is holding out a carrot to LBY for now that he will change his status. I don’t believe he really intends to do this as he would be concerned about LBY after he elevates him. He wants to keep him around to use him and keep an eye on him.
I watch in the hope this doesn’t end with her being in love with him and by his side although I know this is the absolutely unrealistic but likely outcome.

I agree with you, if that was the Director’s intent I don’t think it came through on the screen. As for Haeryeon she wasn’t focused on really at all so how could you see any change. She was always just blah and barely seen.

I disagree and she was supposed to be ACTING her part to convince Ki Chul she was after him and missed him from long ago in order to keep him interested in her. At no point did it show the FL slept with KI Chul. In fact, they showed Joon Mo in a hotel room making out with Hae Ryeon which was much more explicit. You can suppose and assume anything but this was not one sided with FL.
