Nope She was one of the main reasons why I dropped Bride of the Water God after 6 or so episodes (I watched that far because of Nam Joo Hyuk). I refrained from watching Rookie Historian Goo Hae Ryung entirely after knowing she was the main lead. So you're not the only one.

I thought Go Ah Ra's character from Hwarang would be here. I don't know whether it's the actress or the scripts that she gets to work with but after seeing her in Hwarang and The Magician, I'm wary of anything she's cast in. Same with Shin Se Kyung. I've tried very hard to like both theses actresses but to no avail.

I read the manga a year two ago and I remember that I liked it a lot. I didn't even know that there was a drama until I read your article today. Had I known I probably would have watched it then. I'm definitely adding this to my plan-to-watch list.
