Even though I read the novel of Pillow Book and was excited to watch the drama adaptation, I somehow couldn't get past episode 9. Partly because I didn't have time back then and partly because it didn't have the same appeal as Eternal Love did (?). But Descendants of the Sun though was a very pleasurable watch for most of its episodes.
I started watching lakorns quite recently. Their long episodes were a huge deterrent and I still don't understand how I convinced myself to start watching one. Kleun Cheewit is my first and only one as of now. I didn't know that Slap/Kiss dramas were a thing tbh until after I watched it and read the comments on mdl. But I still loved Mark and Yaya together and had a hard time moving on from that drama. I'm currently watching Payakorn Sorn Ruk and planning to watch My Husband in Law next.
I couldn't agree more. The only reason I would continue is Seo Jihoon who plays Park Do Gyum. Imo, the boys have more chemistry with each other than the ML and the FL.
I completely relate to your article XD. I haven't fully reached the last stage, I'm somewhere in between rational brain (I give the first 4 or 6 episodes a try) and emotional craze (I watched the 1st episode and couldn't bother with the rest even though I downloaded the entire drama).
I'm confused, so are there two killers in the two worlds? Cause unless both fathers were murdered on different days, I don't understand how there can be only one killer? If it's the step-brother theory mentioned in previous comments, then it makes sense.
While waiting you should watch hello stranger and in between its also good pinoy bl series
XD the thought did occur to me but then I would binge watch that and I would have to wait for two dramas so I decided I would wait for Hello Stranger to finish airing.
Even though I've only watched like 4 or 5 Japanese dramas, what I love about them is the short number of episodes and on-point storytelling. I watched Todome no Kiss because of Kento Yamazaki and it has become one of my favourite dramas. Looking forward to trying out some of these other recommendations and your next article!
This sudden outbreak of articles on lakorns since Tine-chan's article has successfully brainwashed me. I'm still not over Kluen Cheewit to move onto my second lakorn though. XD
"This show has it all from the hot, mature cinnamon roll and the adorable scheming psychopath, to the hottest blind dude, eye-rolling tsundere, and everything in between." This sentence *slow claps* So accurate XD The article is so good though.
