Yikes, that ending was awful. Theo must have a magic, world-ending bussy or something, cause I have no idea why Akk likes him at all. Although, one thing they got right, we gays love unnecessary drama, and that is basically what this entire series is: unnecessary. If it had been just Akk and Theo wandering around the town/university being cute (like ep 1 and ep 9), I would have really enjoyed this, but the whole Enchante thing and the parents and then the last ep, I dislike Theo extremely. He is a selfish baby who needs to grow up. He has like 1 good quality (he's cute) and everything else was just high-maintenance bullshit. 4/10 stars for me.
So cute, but I just noticed it's 13 episodes long! Are they going to be middle-aged and married with babies by the end??? I cannot imagine what is going to happen for 13 episodes! Especially since in the first two episodes all that has happened is the culinary students cooked food for Ram and friends like 4 times. Don't love the evil girl part of the plot, but Ram and Lukchup are super cute when they stare at each other. But there is way too much staring, I was yelling the whole time, "Stop staring at each other! Say something!!!"
They can try all the want to villainize Torn, but I totally understand him, and he has every right to be angry.
I'm glad he kinda spiraled, otherwise he would have been too perfect, just accepting his injury, and Fah not having time. That is too much. Anybody would act like an asshole for a while and push away their friends.
This continues to suffer from the plot making no sense. While they did give a logical explanation for Enchante,…
Yeah, I didn't get it either. There was literally no reason for Theo not to just say, Hey, Akk, it's been a long time, damn you grew up good, let's go out. But then, there would be no series! Also, inventing a made up person that you exchanged three short messages with in a book seems like a farfetched way to get someone's attention. Like, wear a white t-shirt and run through a sprinkler or suck on a popsicle or something more reasonable. Still, Akk is hot, so at least I understand why Theo would be into him haha. Now, the reverse is more of a mystery.
JFC, people who have critical opinion of this show has as much right to use the comments section as people enjoying…
Yeah, fan culture is messed up. Some people take on a fandom as part of their identity and then become like soldiers, attacking people who criticize in order to defend the celebrity they stan. It's soooo toxic! I mean, obviously some critiques are out-of-bounds (saying an actor is ugly, saying they are a bad person with no evidence, etc...). But saying you think someone's acting is not good or that the plot of a drama is poorly written is totally fair. Everyone who likes it is free to like it and those who don't are free not to. I think the show is poorly done, but I still like it. Fans can be realistic about the quality of something and still like it. I think a lot of the people who comment here are young (and by young I mean < 25 yrs old) and they haven't learned how to depersonalize this kind of thing. Things can be flawed, we can still point out their flaws, and those things can still be worthy of us liking them (or not, it's up to the individual).
