If they butcher SPL we will just butcher our way also to Tencent headquarters. Mango Tv is known for butchering its dramas so aI'm hoping for tencent not to follow in their footsteps and make SPL look like a stranger to all of us.

I really hope people to give SPL a chance. I guess the reason people don't even give it much attention it's because many people are unfa miliar with TJC and CZY as actors and on top of that may be people are just not into political stuffs.

I too love small fandoms because people talk peacefully. If you comment on the page of HOBs/TGCF you end up sleeping with worries wondering who'll come and yell at you for what you've written but here it's soo peaceful

Hahahahah. Tencent has very good budgets to push for danmei adaptations but their problem lies in shelving these BLs until you begin to forget that they exist. What book did they ruin for you? I'm quite curious. As for me my mandarin is quite good I lived in China for some years before immigrating back to my country. Though I'm forgetting some stuffs but I still learn it so as not to forget. I will join you in writing Tencent.

At first I also thought that the heavy political content will be a problem until I heard Tan jian ci say that WIK is the most romantic drama he's ever filmed. My expectations climbed from 40% to noww 200%. I want to believe in what TJC said. So I believe this drama will collect the love it deserves

The beginning of next air is not a good date because China is hosting winter olympics in february and I'm afraid people will be tuned there and forget our WIK but something after the olympics are over will be a perfect date and time for SPL to air.

I still think it should air after immortality. For people who are waiting for eternal faith will have a long wait. HOBs is my best novel but we all know that we will have to start hoping for it to air in 2023 at its earliest. Henceforth while waiting till then people will naturally turn their attention to any airing BL at that time. This is something similar to what happened with WOH. Initially people were waiting for Immortality or SPL to air but when WOH dropped from no where and it boomed into success. I don't think its about people being excited for the moment but its about the right timing. The book of WOH is even less popular than SPL but the time the drama aired wwas just perfect. It's like the first rain after long droughts.
I feel so bad for my SPL. When Immortality is having a rumoured airing date my SPL is still eating dirt in the tencent shelves. Anyways I am hoping for immortality to air then enjoy its limelight. Then when people are craving another danmei adaptation let them air SPL. I don't want it to air before immortality because I feel it will just enjoy a short term limelight before being swallowed up by immortality. So I think its better for it to air after immortality so that it can enjoy a long time spotlight. Since after immortality I guess this is the only top notch adaptation that people are craving for since HOBs and others are still on the filiming stage.

He always has minor or supporting roles and some of them even get to your nerves but his acting is very versatile. I can recommend The three Kingdoms, Twisted Fate of Love, Court Lady and maybe Never Gone.

I really want to give immortality a try but that word Tragedy keeps me on tenderhooks of hesitation. However to me my most anticipated is WIK though I wish to watch immortality.

Tanj jian ci for me was just the guy who could play Guyun even before I knew he was casted. I watched almost all of his dramas and he just had that aura for GuYun. I'm glad he took the role. CZY screameed GC from the time I saw him in Handsome sublings those his character there is more bubbly. But whoever casted Li Hongyi and Song ji yang tgen did us a greaaat life time service of happiness. Song ji yang is so far one of the actors that I imagine in every role of a danmei.
