Dissatisfaction is always there but people should learn how to give actors a chance. I am watching ZXW in Falling into your smile and he really is doing a good job definitely he just needs a little guidance on how to handle XLs character and I guess he'll execute it well. As for Zhang Ling He he is the best pick for Hua Cheng as a new face to many. His acting is very much on point and people shouldn't say he has no experience when the guy is doing a great job in his dramas. Watch him then judge him. People are complaining because the actors they chose weren't picked but they are forgetting other people wouldn't like those actors also. While others wanted Lu han someone people wanted Neo Hou some of us wanted Ding Cheng Xin...others Song ji yang etc. Still dissatisfaction would be there and some people would still say the same words.

I'm glad the crew picked new faces completely for this drama. People are judging even before watching. People should learn to give them first a chance then judge later on. Many will eat their words in the future. The directors weren't sleeping when choosing the cast. They watched one to the last actor audition and it ended with ZXW as Xie Lian. I don't know well the actor but as for me I have no low expectation for this drama. It's one of my best novels with a good donghua why should I have low expectations because of the cast? Hell nooo..I'm full charged with expectations for it since I know, no one made a wrong choice here and with the on-going critics I believe the actors will now challenge their limits to prove people wrong.

I'm normally not a shipper but from today I cheer for LingXiao as HUALIAN.

I haven't laughed in a long time like the way I laughed in Ye Hao Ran's wedding night scene. Dude sounded like a chicken screaming. OMG this drama is just full of comedy. I kept on watching it not because the story is that good but because the comedy is on point. Really laughed a lot. Thx to the actors and whole crew for the entertainment

This drama deserves all the love. Our Ling He deserves the love. The cast, the crew did a great job executing this drama. Beautiful story with a nice pace. there ain't too much of stuffs going on just some good friendship. Very goood

I've never thought of rereading the novel since by the time I was reading it the cast had been confirmed and filming was almost over. When I was done I was full of expectations thinking I won't need to wait for long till it airs since the story is straight forward n with little danmei scenes. I guess I need to reread because the wait is soooo long

This is true. I think the cast is close to accurate. I remember in the extra chapters of TGCF when Xie Lian lost his memories he never doubted himself being 17 because he still retained his youthful baby looks. While on the other hand Hua Cheng went through alot and that's why he seemed older. As for me, I'm sure the cast will do a major good job. The novel was good, donghua good hopefully drama good also.

I hate to think of this but I guess we should come back for hopeful news after the airing of Ancient Love Poetry. Just realized it's another huge budget tencent drama and so tencent will let it air without being hindered. I guess probably news for this should be expected from August
