Dropped at ep 11. It started out well but it gets boring by the time we reach Ep 10. All those mysterious ghost talks etc are just too dry .. they keep on hinting about secrets.. making it seem like some kind of big bombs.. however, we don't see anything and it just becomes draggy. I wish they had included some bromance and reduced that mystery stuff. Then it would have been a very good drama.
Watch if you are looking for a light, Fluffy-costume drama. It doesn't have kissing scenes which is better than those Fish Kiss scenes of other dramas. The characters are well very written. There is no major angst or breakup or heart-wrenching scenes. There aren't a lot of fight scenes as well. However, by the time you notice, the drama would have already reached its end.
The start was bad... it got good in the middle and the ending ruined the entire experience. If only they didn't had the ML revenge plot in the last 4 episodes, it would have been a very good ending.
The subbing is very slow.. I think it might be another six months before its fully subbed. Lets hope it gets completed soon. Thanks, rainbow subs for subbing this drama.
This is an Underrated Gem. When I think that dramas like Sweet Teeth are better rated than this... I can't help but wonder.. what happened to people's taste. Personally, expect the last 2 episodes...all the rest 22 episodes were amazing..

For me, I understood everyone's actions even if I hated them except for a few: Eg: 1) When our dear Eldest Brother tried to get adopted instead of his sister. He was a kid and wanted to escape the hell hole. 2) The reason the first wife left for America. She wanted to escape her parent's mess. 3) The cheating couple. They never really liked each other. The girl tried to but the guy was not interested.. so she left it off. They both had someone else in their heart throughout their marriage.
Actions that I never understood: 1) The husband of Semei. He had no reason for cheating when he had such a caring wife. He realized his mistake too late. 2) Yi Ding's mother... she raised him from childhood and he is very attentive to her and yet she mistreats him. She is actually worse than the Qiao families father. He was not attentive to the kids but at least he never pretended to be a good dad.

The siblings did notice that he is not feeling healthy these days. Remember San Li and Semei's conversation... she said that he was bloated and didn't eat much. Also, he stopped everyone from meeting him once his dialysis started. He literally told everyone to not disturb unless absolutely necessary and make calls instead. So they assumed that he is busy and didn't visit him.. when they met, they assumed that he is tired from work.
