Her character in the show is too small to comment on.. However I understood her. She was selfish but she have been put through a lot through out her life and now wants to escape the cage..

I am Asian too. I never have problems with controlling parents which is quite common in Asian Cultures. I didn't have a problem with the old lady pulling that trick on her as well. The problem was how ML dealt with it. He outright accused and forced FL to pay that lady's hospital bill. She isn't responsible for her heart-related issues. Get her family to pay or send her to govt hospital or ask the FL whether she is willing to do that. Hospital bills for cases like these can be very large. You can't force a stranger to pay it off... you might let her know the situation and ask for her to cover the expense so that treatment can be started but you don't have any right to force.

Again the breakup part.. From what I remember, he was not a cheater but simply broke up without reason.. I might be wrong, it's been a long time but I think it was a very short term relationship. Just bcs your relationship didn't last long doesn't mean he is a player.. there can be n number of reasons for the breakup.

Well there is a lot of comic in My Father is Strange but I think the actress is just amazing.. She can deliver her emotions right through her eyes probably one of the reasons.. the makeup artist highlights them.. there are few actress like her..

1) Exactly. If you have a demon improsed in a particular section.. Why would they have it abandoned it without any warning sign?
2) Watch the battles scenes from their selection day. They all had displaced good fighting skills. They had entered Academy not to refine their warrior skills but to refine their Mystic Skills.
3) When you have a mentor who teaches you everyday to hate humans. When you watch your people helplessly imprisoned and watch your sister killed.... and if you still don't hate them? Maybe not all humans but atleast the person who was behind all this i.e Emperor and Academy Teacher. Maybe she decided to not take revenge bcs saving her people was priority but that doesn't mean you won't hate them. I just can't help but question this.
4) I agree on this. They never explained the whole situation. However it was evident that all the humans were being brainwashed to hate the clan. From birth everyone was taught that they are evil and stuff. But again, it is evident historically that those type of preaching never works. However no one seems to be questioning them. Maybe they can't speak in open but it is always discussed behind closed doors. However I never saw a single supporter on the human side.. Not even the ML's father. Which makes no sense...

They did show him refuting her advances in Ep 11 but they didn't show the reason but it kinda makes sense considering how Seok-Hyung mentioned in the Season 1 that he confessed and got rejected and I guess by that time Ik-Sun already got into a relationship with his dead wife.

1) No,.. The Dragon King was a prisoner of war. I am talking about the rapist-killer who was imprisoned using chess board.
2) It was for the strongest. Otherwise, why did they had a fighting match for the student selection? for the Top 10 fighters?
3) Exactly. She saw her innocent sister killed by the academy teacher for his greed of power and land.. However she has no hatred towards him. She saw all humans except 1 or 2 who treated her people as slaves and yet she didn't hate humans? Is that something believable?
4) She did fell in love with him and married him. However, she was imprisoned by the humans too easily. (Probably betrayed by her husband I would guess, for he always felt guilty). That's where the issue is. If a person from the royal court was able to marry a person of Kulun... it would mean that they were not considered demons... So why did the Academy teacher wanted to remove them from existence?

K-drama style wake-up call for Song Hwa..

For me, the problem started in the academy itself. Eg:

1) How the FL was led into the dangerous dungeon where the most notorious prisoner was stored. I mean for a place like that, they will keep it under lock.. unaccessible and with warning signs on the door but there was nothing of that sort here.

2) When the academy started, it was for the bravest and the finest warriors. They even conducted battles among the best warriors. However suddenly after joining the academy, the SFL is into dancing and flees away at the first sign of danger. I mean this is warriors academy.

3) The FL's real friendship with all her academy mates. Ever since she was young, she saw the cruelty of the human on her clan mates... however, she becomes quick friends with humans upon joining the academy. I can understand if she was trying to get close to them so that she can hide her identity but she was friends in real sense.

4) The reason behind war. This was very inadequate. The reason why ML's mother didn't fight back.. She was princesses of the clan and a warrior as well.

The list can go on..

Thank god they cut it down.. it becomes unbearable to watch after halfway through. The drama dumbs down a lot.

I think most of the people who are watching this season are watching for Song-Hwa and Ik-Sun..... but their screen time is very low. Everyone wants to know why they never dated in college when they liked each other.. Everyone wants to see them as a couple. Around by Ep 8.. we all just got frustrated and lost interest in all the waiting..

Actually this show is not for binge.. it becomes boring for them bcs it is slow at certain times. However if you are watching 1 episode a week, its a complete different story.

Just finished Ep 27. I think the drama makers are dumb idiots. There is something called Quality Check which every company carries out on receipt of fabric. All the problem which they faced would be easily solved if this was done. No one makes the payment to supplier before the product is approved under lab testing. I don't ask for intelligent drama but at least use the common sense while making dramas.

The subs on youtube are very bad.. Is there any platform where the translation has been done properly?

Are you guys really caring about that stupid selfish FL? I am glad that the husband got rid of her. I feel bad for the ML for being struck with such a person. He is really stupid.

Dropped at Ep 10. Only because of the Female Lead. She is one of the worst FL i have ever watched. She is spoiled, brat and selfish. I don't even understand why those 3 males care about such stupid, self-absorbed women. She also spoiled her son and has provided him with a very bad example. She throws tantrum whenever things don't go her way....her son is going in the same direction. I don't think she deserves the custody with the way her son is going wayward.

I was very happy that her husband had decided to divorce her, I was hoping that FL will have a character growth in the days she is away from her son due to custody fight but none of that happened.

She gets drunk, the ML takes care of her and she doesn't even thank him properly. She slaps the lawyer of the husband in the very first episode for no reason. I don't understand why ML even cares a bit for such a spoiled women. Anyways I can't watch it anymore.

For me in Vincenzo, the ML was very ruthless in the beginning.. However after being with FL, he became hesitant... that's the reason SML died.. If he was the same person from Ep 1, he would have shot the enemy first without trying to flee with FL leading to her getting shot and along with SML's death.

Are the drama makers stupid?? New recruits never practise with real weapons.. its too dangerous.. Half of them will be injured even before they make it to the battlefield if they use the real weapons for training.

I never found it hard after end of season 1 but I do can't wait for next episode... same now.. I can't wait for Ep 11 and Ep 12 but once the season ends... I will move on.. till next season if they announce.. S1 didn't end on a cliffhanger (except for the confession from best friend scene).. it had resolved all the things. So it was easy to move on..

Well, they are giving you the down to earth portrayal of real life. .. this is not a commercial drama.. you won't get them.
