I think that's where the issue is.. Sometimes the person you love will behave stubbornly. It is up to you on how you want to deal with it... Either you can try or you can avoid it and make it into an issue. ML didn't avoid it.. he fought for it. That's what the scene is all about. Again your explanation is only trying to put things out of context.

Similarly there are many other dramas in this list.. which don't cross the consent line. I mean ML/FL chasing after the person they love without doing any personal infragmentation of right shouldn't be called out for.. Eg: Strong woman do bong soon. Yes, he hired her because he liked her.. but he never forced her into any relationship or situation where he was using his position to his advantage.

Similarly in Record for youth, when he goes on to kiss her,.. She is not leaning away. She is leaning into him. Even though he didn't ask her.. "Can I kiss you".. She still had consented to the kiss by leaning into it and not backing away from it.

I agree regarding the kiss in Fairy Kim. It was crossing the boundary.. However there are many scenes that you said are crossing the boundary.. but they are not.

She is not a warrior to fight in the battle... she arranged for everything otherwise the second prince has no power while sitting in the prison to change the guards of the palace and the prison.

Thai dramas does not just shows kisses man... they rape their Female Leads and call it love...

I haven't watched many of the dramas.. but I stopped reading when I saw how the article writer misused Pinnochio's kiss to say there was a lack of consent. The FL will confess that she loves the ML very early on... they both love each other.. just before the kiss, the FL says that they should go back to Uncle and Niece relationship.. when he asks her, "will you be able to do it?".. she hiccups while saying Yes. ( meaning she was lying)... Only then does the ML kisses her and she returns the kiss on the very next second. .... I am not sure how many of such scenes were misused to build up this article..

Please don't misuse one of the best relationships ever shown in a K-drama. I have watched this drama over 5 times just because of the chemistry between the characters.

Both of them were unaware. When Samsin says everything will go back to what it was supposed to be...meaning the curse of devil will be gone... so FL gained her eyes and the second prince got healed.

If you see the original story of the 3 beings... they were together. However the demon ate the person who held them in balance and ran loose. When the Goblin takes away the painting, they reunite.. meaning... he is holding both the life giver and death in balance. It is shown with goblin having both his hands stretched out, each hand representing one power.

Also just like how the girl got her eyes back.. many things which were there due to the devil returned back to their own place.. meaning the second prince also recovered from his injury. With the help of Gisaeng from outside, he raised the rebellion in the end and died in the hands of crown prince.

1) The giseang is most likely from the old dynasty ( The one which was overthrown by their grandfather).
2) The prince will die after raising rebellion with the help of Giseang. The ML tells the FL that the second star has disappeared from the sky. Meaning the second prince is going to die.

It is not a plot hole... The king's men didn't kill his father.. ML when possessed by the demon killed his own father. The King will reveal the truth when he wakes up. He was always aware that ML is living a double life and preparing for revenge but he never took any action because the Royal Family owed him (Since he lost his father and his eyes and had to become vassal of demon bcs of their ancestors).

The Courtesan, didn't disappear in bubbles, she helped the second prince raise a rebellion. It is shown in the Ep 16 where both the crown prince and second prince fight each other as an epilogue. It's just that they are not telling her story so they didn't focus on how she raised the rebellion.

I don't think there were any loose ends in this series. It is one of those rare dramas where everything was tied up properly. Most likely either you missed something or didn't understand the concept.

It's a fantasy done right. I especially liked how everything was connected in the last episode.

Obviously since its a romance drama..

Great drama upto Ep 16. Then it went downhill... my recommendation.. watch till Ep 16 and then fast forward..

Nope. She looks like Park Shin Hye ( Korean Actress). Watch Pinnocho and King is in Love and you will realize... not only the face even her smile is exactly like that actress.

I saw them in school uniforms and I wanted to drop the drama.. School dramas are not my cup of tea... but the characters in this drama are very mature. Especially the ML .. I think thats the reason I was able to continue watching this drama..

Thank god I didn't drop in the early episodes because the drama goes off the charts once university life begins... One of the best romance dramas I have watched in a while. I really like watching relationships growing strong without those dumb miscommunication dramas where all the issues can be solved if they can talk for just 5 mins. However in this drama, we see miscommunications but the leads actually do that 5 mins talk to solve those misunderstandings.. thats what I liked about this drama the most.

I think the most important point missed by the drama is that... A person who is well versed in cyber hacking and stuff... won't be working as a regular police officer.. that would be a complete waste of his talents...

It started out well but then halfway through it gets tiring. I skimmed through from Ep 13 to Ep 16. It just wanted to finish this drama and get out of it by that point.

Just as he entered the hospital, she had asked for a hug with her open arms.. what did the ML do??? He turned away from her.. That scene is too powerful to ignore. It doesn't show that he is gilt ridden.. it shows his disgust to the rape victim... Also he just doesn't stop there... He takes her to the woods and blames her. He literally asks her that are you unhappy that I am not him.. And you say that he didn't blame her for the rape?? The problem with them is not communication.. Even if she got pregnant from rape... he doesn't want that child.. he can ask her to abort ..if she doesn't want to.. he can divorce her.... however what did he do??? He chains her and puts her through nearly the same thing again and says it is for her own safety.. what kind of man is he??? And you guys are here supporting that behaviour...shameless people..

Also don't give the standard of other lakorn where the ML rapes the FL. I hate them even more than this. I never watch rape romantization.. if ever a drama falls in that category.. I abandon them.. No one ever falls in love with their rapists. Thats all bullshit... You guys should watch "What is fatmagul's fault" ... it handles all these very well.

Slap-kiss drama generate the highest viewship ratings. I think the problem is within the traditional culture. In the past, when two people in love wanted to get married and if their parents didn't allow.. the guy basically sleeps with the girl and calls it a rape. So they can marry each other and girl keeps her dignity. (Bcs sleeping with man before marriage is too damaging to her reputation).

The girl can't willingly sleep with man before marriage. This is what gave birth to this genre.

Now I guess that the people have just become sadists and enjoy watching girls being humiliated like that.

I honestly blame everything on the ML... He blamed her for getting raped in the hospital openly. Then he wanted to her tell ..everything that happened to her when she wasn't ready... reliving the trauma takes time.. He should have been gentle with the FL even if he blamed himself.... instead he also used violence against the FL. He was no better than her own rapist. If you guys call this "Romance".. Then you guys are just sadists..
