On ep11 now..... The major issue of the drama seems to be consistency. The ML suddenly becomes a skilled fighter.. suddenly he becomes a punch bag who doesn't know how to do anything... I mean he was trained by his dad for almost 10 years.. he doesn't need to learn to kick again.. He just needs to practice what he has not been training for last 3-4 years....

It was the condition placed by the heaven, that he will need to marry and help her for three tribulations if he wants her soul back. Also he will need to wait for his ascension for another 1000 years... The characters in the drama are not the high power immortals but rather lower gods...
I watched till ep 10 and then skipped to the ending.. Just as expected, the ending was also a disappointment. The dragon was punished again without any due cause.. I liked how he rebelled against injustice at the end, even when he knew he won't make a difference..... but i hoped he had destroyed the heaven in that last fight..
This drama had 2 things which I like the most: 1) Underdog company 2) No misunderstandings between leads. The leads love and trust each other. The only drawback was the fight scenes.. they are very bad... but since it's a very minor part, I choose to ignore them. The guys went gun blazing at each other but none of the military people died.. this was too unrealistic. .. The business aspect was well done. There were some issues but still it was done greatly.

Remember how Bai Jue falls down from the sky on her death.... he basically used all his powers to stop the tribulation.. That's why he had a hard time fighting against the demon in the next scene. After that, he used the part of her soul for her re-birth. However he didn't have her core, so he hoped that she will live her life as a regular immortal with restricted powers so that she won't be chosen as a Chief for sacrifice after 180k years.
He then created a clone to cultivate the power of chaos for 10k years. Then re-joined his body with the core to gain the power of chaos. He didn't think that his clone will end up falling in love with the FL. So he had to stage the breakup with his marriage.
When the FL's discipline gives her the core, she regains her powers of chaos. ML wasn't aware of this. So it was a disruption in his plan. So once again he has to deceive her into thinking that, he has moved on and doesn't care about his son and has no memories...
Once they open the God Realm... he resumes the tribulation and using his chaos power, he gets the position of chief and completed the tribulation.. If he already knew what would the tribulation bring.. he wouldn't have allowed the FL to take it in the first place and would have done everything to replace her... ( thats what the Demon god did in the first ARC but was blamed by everyone for being greedy for power).
The best part of this drama is CGI. The fight scenes are just amazing.. the scene where the FL returns after 1000 years and fight those demons is just amazing... Similarly the scene where the ML takes 83 lighting strikes..

I didn't knew it was cut down to fewer episodes.. I have noticed that this ML have a lot of slow burn romances. I usually like them... I think the concept of AL technology is what ruined this series. It's very difficult to get past that concept.
