I think this is one of those rare dramas which have done the gaming scenes just perfectly.. It was more realistic than any drama I have ever seen.. I hated Falling Into your Smile and dropped it at Ep 7... but it is completely the opposite for this drama.. I have been sitting straight 12 hours on his and just finished Ep 22... It is just amazing.. I think I will finish this before sleeping..
So after being "addicted" to Xukai, I couldn't help but searching for his previous drama to watch. In fact, I…
I too watched this just for the ML.. I really liked his acting in Ancient Love Poetry... However I was disappointed in this drama.. the storyline is took weak...
The ending is a toss up for me. Either they stayed in the realm with the Elder because she was dying in the real…
That is correct.. They are now immortals and guardians of the book of heaven as long as they stay in that world.. Why would they want to go back and die in the human world?
The storyline of the drama is very weak... The chemistry between the actors is not bad.. the Saintess is very overly friendly with her human counterparts (from the begining) even when it's the human who has enslaved her clan. I could understand if she was faking it, but her feelings are genuine.
I think the second couple kept the drama interesting in between... if it wasn't for them, I don't think I would have been able to finish the drama.
I think the only reason this drama is low rated is because of the romance scenes.. Even though the couple is great in the bickering scenes.. the drama lacks the sweet scenes. While the ML is very balant about his feeling from about Ep 10 or something, the FL hides hers around till Ep 16 or 17.. even after that, we don't get sweet scenes due to the impending reveal of ML's mothers death..
However if you ignore this aspect.. the drama is just hilarious with a great storyline. I never got bored except maybe a little at the end but otherwise I didn't even realize when I finished watching it.. I would say its too low rated than it deserves.
I still rewatch the clips on youtube.. all the time.. especially all the Fights before the gods were sealed off and the scene where Qing Mu takes the True God's tribulation to create his own power core..
Off topic. What are the laws on assault in South Korea? I noticed in many Kdramas employees are often slapped,…
I would say things like this used to happen perhaps 30-40 years ago,... but now its all in the past in all lawful countries.. Also I don't know if it happens in real life but the drama shows employees working Day and Night for their job.. There are some employees like that in India who go the extra mile but they all do for upcoming promotions or if their income is directly linked to the performance.. but most take fixed pay so they work fixed hours.. maybe sometimes a hour or two extra in case of emergency... but in dramas they are always working past 10pm..
They breakup multiple times through out the drama... However they are not melo but more towards comic because the ML will immediately chase after the FL. They had only one melo breakup towards the end bcs the ML had to catch the SFL's dad.. so he pretended to marry that girl.
The beginning and the middle section of the drama was good.. however, the last 6 episode leaves a bad taste.. the issue with the grandpa wasn't handled well at all. The last episode was too rushed.. I think they could have cut down some scenes in prior episodes and shown a proper resolution between the family..
She had just joined the team and was still learning how things work. Being a newcomer she was still unsure of…
I am not a avid gamer.. I don't want the drama to be realistic.. I enjoyed Perfect and Casual a lot ( it has girl falling into guys arms.. the SML is best friend in love with FL). In this drama however the ML is explaining things. Those scenes can't be dumb.. the explanation should make sense to the viewer... those scenes are the ones that makes or kills the drama for me.. I can't dumb myself during these lengthy conversations.. bcs those scenes doesn't have a music or a romance or something which we can enjoy and ignore the rest. Those scenes are pure explanations..
A guy saying on a press conference that his rival team only hired a female gamer to create hype and gossip is…
He made the challenge to the club directly.. the ML refused the challenge.. so he made a provocative comment in media.. this is how the challenger forces the other team to accept the challenge.. this is a very common strategy. This doesn't mean that he is a bad guy.. he is doing mental warfare even before the game begins.. there is nothing wrong with that... eg: In boxing and other such sports, the players taunt the opponent, which makes him to go into aggressive mode and making a mistake..

When it comes to sports there is no such thing called Junior or Senior. A 17-year-old can have a talent that can surpass a 35-year-old veteran... the experience helps but it isn't everything... Also it's E-sports.. they change every month/quarter/year due to updates ( New characters, Weapons, Powers etc)... Truthfully, the veterans will learn it all over again when that happens.
Also, the challenge was made against the team. There are 5 players. She wasn't the only one who was challenged.... All the posting the game online etc, When you accept a challenge publicly. the fan community would want to what happened.. they would want to watch the match. You can't hide it... so the agreement to not post the match online itself is contradictory. If today, Real Madrid and Barcelona plays a practice match.. what do you think will happen? Stadium will be filled with people to watch that game.
Also, they are playing an RTS game. So he doesn't even have to officially challenge her.. he can enter her game room anytime as a guest player when she is doing her online streaming and beat her..
From the challenge to breaking confidence, to posting the video online and public reaction is just non-sense.. I am pretty sure, that the drama will be full of similar non-sense.. so I dropped it at Ep 6..
Is this kind of label a thing? lol you probably never watch In Family We Trust...
No this is the only drama I have seen where the police was actually carrying out investigations.. the leads weren't doing investigation but instead helping police by providing all the information they have. This is how police investigation actually works.. I am saying this is the only drama which got it right.. all other thai dramas just show the leads solving the case and police arrive at the end to arrest them.
