Dropped it at Ep 16... I can understand why this is rated so low now.. The show fails to find a balance... They had a lot of strong Female Characters but no strong male characters to balance it out.. FL, both the SFL's are strong and all ML, SMLs are weak. I never felt FL's sincerity in the relationship at all... There is not a single scene where the FL does something for the ML. It's all about things ML does for the FL.. it gets boring with the same line of approach. As I mentioned, the writers failed to maintain the balance in the relationships and the drama as well. If they are showing 1 couple through a tense relationship, the other relationship should be going smooth... with episode after episode of disapproving parents, it becomes tiresome.. I can understand the SFL's dad disagreeing to the relationship since the boyfriend is a divorcee.. I don't understand why the ML is disapproved by his SIL at all.. I mean he graduated from a top university, he is a resident at one of the top hospitals... All the hospital staff and his patients love him.. He loves the FL very much.. The SIL disapproves of him because he is loves his sister above his career. I mean seriously? You are holding that against him? you should be happy that he loves her that much..

I agree. Also it is still one of the top watched drama on IQiYI for this year. However I personally liked only the first 8-9 episodes but then it got boring and messy.. especially when the egg business arc started, it was just too much...

As long as it is all for all the episodes so far, it is not surprising.. it's easy to touch these numbers as long as the drama is good and are using Famous Actors..

On Ep 6 now.. Enjoying it a lot so far.. it seems so underrated... Watch it on Dramacool instead of IQ. The subs on IQ are not good but subs on dramacool are great..

The Main Couple in the drama are named after that novel.... thats all.

I hate watching the E_sports drama.. I like real sport drama..how much sports are we talking here? Eg: Love O2o is a drama which I disliked a lot bcs of too much e-sport and its discussion.. I liked its movie version though.

This must be for all episodes together right? Bcs you guys are saying nearly 1/4th of world population watched this drama which is impossible.

I usually don't write reviews.. However for this drama, the most touching is not about what he does for his wife.. for me those things are on the sidelines. The drama is more about what goes through the mind of a person who knows that he will be suffering for the next 4-7 years before death. He wants to spare that pain of 4-7 years long illness to his wife, who is still young and can have a chance at marriage again without him in the picture. He didn't expect her to become pregnant or she would have moved on very easily.

Also, many wives in real-life leave their husbands unable to take it anymore. Alzheimer is actually a real ground for divorce. If you see the couples whose Children are battling long term sickness.. they end up getting divorced by the end of it. It is too painful to watch your loved one going through the pain..

Its more of a Slice of Life drama.. but it does have romance as a subplot. Jdramas are too small to focus more on romance..

Its rare for a Jdrama to be Heart Warming.. I am glad that this is one of those few rare Warm hearted drama and that I was able to watch it.

You mean without major misunderstandings right? Mad for Each Other, Undercover, Dinner Mate, Legend of Awakening, My Husband in Law, Chief of Staff 1 & 2.... They all are from different Generes... Modern Romance, Action, Healing, Wuxia, Thai drama, Political drama..

All these are my recent favourite watch and not on your list.

Its a fun watch.... Not great and not bad either..

He is not becoming a Martyr.. he just doesn't want his wife to live through hell for the next 6-7 years of his life.. so he decides to divorce her.. the child was a mistake on his part. It was unplanned and that is what leads to his downfall.. otherwise, he would have died silently without his wife ever knowing that he is dead because no one goes and looks for what happened to the Ex and she would have married and lived happily with the lawyer.

He knows he is sick. So he starts behaving like a jerk ( upto Ep 4)... so that he can successfully divorce his wife.. they were in a loving relationship until he suddenly changed.. that's why it is hard to believe for his wife and she is struggling .... I think the best moment in the entire drama is on Ep 8 when his wife accidentally meets him when he is in mental unawareness and everything clicks in for her.. Also, you will cry on each episode after Ep 6 watching him struggling to keep his wife out of his life and struggles with his daughter, who doesn't understand the illness his father has..

The first half of the series is all about misunderstandings and hesitation in terms of romance. They finally confess to each other but the Grand Father in Law doesn't want them to be in a relationship so he puts a very big obstacle with the FL's uncle death... so they break up for a year.. before finally they find out about how the Grand Father had lied.

The acting is not that great. I was able to finish the drama by fast-forwarding through the drama. The fight scenes are again non-sense. I finished the entire series in just 8 hours..

It is one of those words which I misspell every time.. lol..I have tried correcting this but somehow I always miss it..

The ending becomes a little draggy and repitative.. would have been better if they reduced 2 episodes.. Otherwise the plot is engaging..

The kiss is actually a draw line for many actors... not just in Thailand but in many countries, especially for TV Actors.. Many TV channels also avoid them to keep them G rated. So I would rather have a no kiss drama instead of a fake kiss drama... the fake kisses are terrible to watch.. just insert a hug/cheek kiss instead of a Fish kiss or fake kiss.

FYI - Many Bollywood movie actors still keep the "No Kissing" clause in their movie contracts especially the ones from the nineties.. it all depends upon what the actors feel comfortable doing on screen... Shah Ruk Khan an Indian legendary actor had a no kissing policy for almost 20 years before he broke it bcs it was his 80-year director last film ( They shared a long friendship).

The first scene has me second-guessing this drama.. the fighter plane will crash in less than 1 min if its doing a nose down.. Also, even if the engine fails, the flight won't be doing nose down.. they will glide.. if its going nose down, there are many other problems in the plane and not just engine failure and you won't be able to save the plane.. I don't understand why the pilot doesn't eject and keeps on trying to restart once he has crossed the safety limit. If there was a human population below, I can understand he is trying to save people by guiding the plane away... however they were near mountains.. so no damage to people.. there is no reason for staying in the plane...

The writer should do at least some basic research on what happens in engine failure before writing such a stupid scene..

I think it is more suited for those who want to watch an emotionless Male Lead... There are too many Chinese dramas that follow this troupe and I hate them.... thank god we have dramas like Love and Redemption where the actors pour out their emotion..
