I don't know.. what thai dramas usually represent their country as an unlawful place where everyone have guns at home and shoot people randomly... the police never does anything.. the characters will be like.. " We need to give more proof to police or the villian will escape". They basically complete all the investigations and then police will come collect the proofs from the Leads and arrest the evil character.... This is not how police works.. they have detectives.. they have access to public camera, they can talk to passerby.. there are n number of investigation methods..

I am not worried about revenge.. I know it will happen.. its dramaland after all.. What I am talking about is, how he is being portrayed for issuing a challenge against the FL..

Just watching Ep 5.. this is the most ridiculous episode that I have watched so far. Casting another player as Evil is just too much. Its not like he cheated or something. He challenged a player to break their confidence before game ( I mean this is ridiculous). During our school days, when we used to loose against a stronger team, it didn't break us down.. it made us work harder in practise and improve ourselves.. Same thing happens when I play E-games. I entire explanation by the ML is just non-sense...

I know you meant that the voice is not dubbed. The producers are smart these days. They don't spend money on hiring artists to dub the voice. Its an extra expense for them. Rather it is the actors themselves who record their voice in the studio. This increases the quality of the drama also.

However, this kind of cute voice is not liked by many viewers who are from outside China. Chinese people are used to watching Anime a lot... and a lot of those anime has voices like these. However the international audience is not used to it and is bothered by it and they complain about it.

The reason why I said that this is not her real voice is bcs she won't speak like that normally when interacting with friends and family. This is her on-screen voice, which she maintains as a part of her image. Image plays a major role in landing new movie roles..

I guess you must have watched lot of early 2010 dramas where these kind of voice over where is trend..

This is not her real voice buddy.. Watch her interviews.. Her real voice is much more mature. She is using her cute voice...probably asked by the director.. she is a voice artist, they can easily tone their voice as per the need set by the director of the show..

Its not just you.. I think everyone complained mostly about the same thing.. Its a chinese thing I guess.. This isn't the first drama where I had issues with voices, I would rather say it is much better than other dramas I have watched especially if you go back to dramas in around 2010's.. you will find many drama used these kind of voice overs... Thank god, they are improving now..

I got used to it after Ep 6.. It would have been much better if she didn't try to use her Cute Voice too much.. I think it is demeaning to all the females around the world..

I have watched the below on this list. I can say we have a very different taste.

Le Coup The fodre - This is so slow.. I dropped it at Ep 4..
Go Ahead - Again too slow.. Dropped at Ep 2.
Intense Love - Fast Forwarded through the drama after Ep 16. Its has a good start but it gets boring.

I won't call these fights but rather discussions.. Everyone has their opinion about everything. As I said, there are many people who like these voice overs. I guess, its upto the director.. who is his target audience becomes a question. However the trend of these manga voices is going down due to International Audience. They don't like them..

"Sometimes he seems to powerful that he can crush antagonist in one attack and sometimes he feels like an ordinary man"...

This statement is true for not just this drama but for N number of Chinese dramas... The ML if too powerful will get injured from a silly accident before the fight or he would have already used up all his energy to save the FL from death...I think there is very few dramas which keeps things consistent through out the drama... Eg: Ancient Love Poetry.

I saw her profile after posting this message, as expected she is a Voice Artist (Singer). Also it seems like she is trying to maintain a bubbly girl image.

The girl starts to like him aroung Ep 13 or 14 but is in denial mode. She acknowledges to herself around Ep 19.. They start dating in another 2-3 episodes ( Chinese New year episode). .. Also they do have a short breakup when the FL learns about the ML's hidden identity but it is very clean/comic and not melo.

Again the clip you shared is from a TV Show.. These actors use a different screen voice. So don't compare the voices of these shows and dramas.. If you want to see her mature voice, see the Interviews. In the clip you shared, she is again acting cute and using her cute voice. They go under voice training for these.. Once she reaches her mid-thirties or if she ever takes a mature role, you will see the change again... This is her first drama I have watched but I can guarantee, all her other dramas must be showcasing a cute girl role only.

Usually the majority of the Chinese dramas use studio-recorded voice and not the real audio from the shooting like they do in Korea or any other dramas. So a lot of time the voice-over is given by a person completely different from the artist who is acting. This drama seems to be using actress real voice but the director has probably asked her to make it more cutesy since her voice is like a regular person in the video I shared and in drama its more girlish and cuteish.. this completely ruins the watching experience for me. I am sure there are people who like these kind of stuff.. especially manga lovers..

I don't know how the Chinese Publication industry works but usually, the Publishers never sign an author for a single book. They usually want the writer for multiple books since they spend a lot of time and money to market the writer. They wouldn't want them to leave their publication very easily. But how the publication was negotiating with the author for each of their books seemed very odd to me. It might be understandable for contract renewals or for new series of an established author, but doing it for each book will hugely impact the earnings of the Publishing house, so they will avoid it as much as possible even if its a famous author with good fanbase.

Just started watching this drama.. I wish the C-drama will stop using such a ridiculous voice-over.. I have seen this trend decreasing lately but there are still some who use silly cutesy voice over for the women making it ridiculous to watch..

Sometimes the descriptions are misleading.. I have seen many dramas about Sports where they are less focused on sports and more on the relationship and storyline.. Eg: Fight for my way...while some drama spend lot of time on the game itself and strategising/training etc.. eg: Appledong Time.. where they go deep into robotics fights..

Watch this if you are looking for a fun watch.. The storyline is not so much but its a good light watch.. Considering all the bad C-dramas I have watched, this one is very good..

I guess it's all about different opinions.. for me, I am a Finance Guy... so we understand business models.... the business model of the Egg business was completely flawed.... it had so many loopholes that I was like "Whoever wrote this doesn't know anything about business and didn't consult with a business person while writing the script".. One of the major problems was the Eggs themselves. They didn't have any facility to raise such a large volume of eggs( Visit a Poultry farm and you will understand)., The second problem was "Franchise Business", The city was too small to have that many franchises.. so they can't make that much money like they had shown... the list is ever-growing.

Whenever a new product is launched, we discuss about the scalability of the product.. The way the movie showed the scalability is impossible considering the economy portrayed in the drama.

This issue was a major backdrop for me.. I think doctors must feel the same way when they watch ridiculous impossible operation scenes Eg: I remember a drama showed a doctor doing heart surgery even after the power goes off and the room goes dark saying he has done it many times and is experienced in handling such issues.
