I think some viewers are disappointed by illogical scenes. And even for a science fiction story, that shouldn't…
Episode 2, appartment fight scene was great. First time I see that in a drama (with LUCA elevator scene). It get inspiration from action-movie like The Vilainess. Of course, it can't be so much succesfull and well-prepared. But still, it's huge for a drama. Some other hand to hand fight are nice too. Gunfu fight episode 3 with the sniper killer. Or first fight in the street, episode 4.
So far I'm loving this show. It's too early to rate it or leave a review, but what I can say is this: this is…
It is a brain-intensive drama, requiring concentration. But fortunately, the action is clear, and you can also see it without thinking too much. However, one must be more patient to understand the mysteries in this case. There is probably no alternative universes here, hopefully.
Of course Ro Na is dead. There are several very precise close-ups to confirm it. Her mouth is against the ground, she is not breathing, not a single movement of the chest. Not only because of the fall down the stairs, but her throat is slit. +some clues about presomption Eun Buyl achieve her (see Alden Salcedo post). Even if she survived by an unrealistic miracle, her throat is slit and would never again allow her to sing, like her mother. Sorry! :-DDDDDD
really? I couldn't tell, it sounded like the same bgm from S1 xDS1 felt cringy to watch until Logan showed up…
Listen carefully to these powerfull BGMs: Episode 3 - 16:36 to 17:16. (Joo Dan Tae scene+flashbacks) Episode 1 - 08:38 to 10:40. (bedtime scene+Ha Yoon Chul beating)
I may have posted Last Empress BGMs on your BGM topic. It's very easy to compare, it's 100% the same style. The musicians use more synthetic sounds, sound effects and percussion than in season 1, which used symphonic instruments instead. But I'll have to listen to the record again, because if the style changes, maybe it's the same musicians.
One of the significant improvment of Season 2 : Background music. I listened various bgm from Season 1, but in season 2, they changed team. So here, we get the same team of musicians who performed "The last empress" BGM. It's why all is more powerfull, harsh, shocking, stunning, amazing, awesome. Since episode 1 of season 1, this drama is an endless ramp where each new episode is better than the previous one. It's like... we are climbing stairs to the top of the Penthouse. :-D
Hi, we have a lot in common about screenwriter. ;-) Song Ji Na : don't forget "Sandglass", her best. (unless Eyes Of Dawn was better, but I didnt watched it yet).
