It has to be Rona... and I hope it is. Eun Byeol has been hiding a secret plan for the past 4 episodes, it doesn't…
Please, put it into spoiler. I avoid to read "spoiler comments", because they speak about who is pushed in the stairs episode 1. And I don't want to know!
I cross fingers for this drama don't change anything about plot, actors, editing. Don't make audience pay for other people rumors or past mistakes if there is any. Anyway, if some people don't want to watch the actor, it's already too late. So, keep the drama good as it is, for people who will continue to watch it.
You feel it kind of extreme in Korea because the victims dare to exposed them.It better to expose the perpetrator…
Why do you cry for Kim So Hyun ? They both were lead actors of the very good drama "Page Turner". If it were any problem with the actor, be sure she won't work with him again.
Its shocking especially since this is a 22 million dollar show. It's JTBC's 10 Year anniversary drama, and this…
It can be said that Koreans work miracles with little. Experience and a very prolific industry. Most of the time, the difference in quality is not noticeable. In fact, many of the dramas have aesthetic qualities not seen elsewhere. Whether it's the way of shooting or the atmosphere. But it becomes difficult when it comes to producing shows that encroach on the specialization of Westerners. Such as big action scenes. There's also a difficulty in grasping this type of action. The philosophy is reminiscent of older western series, when the scenes were less realistic.
As an example the Vagabond drama. The action scenes are good (in fact, they are better than Western scenes in terms of suspense and tension, but less good from a technical and realistic point of view). There is, however, a problem of seriousness. One scene shows the characters in a car (ordinary, without armor). They are being shot at by several enemies, at medium distance, from a high position, equipped with assault rifles. The car is pierced with bullets. In such a situation, no occupant of the car could have survived. But the drama uses the (now outdated) cliché of the car as armor. It is true that the trajectory of a high velocity ammunition is not always straight or sometimes fails to penetrate a passenger compartment. But not a flood of bullets as shown in the scene. Especially since a large number of bullets could pass through the windows. So there is a naive and outdated side to some blockbuster action scenes. Whereas action scenes are better in historical dramas, even with almost supernatural movements. Afterwards, in the case of the Vagabond, it is possible that there is a parodic side, because the screenwriters are great jokers, and they often have an offbeat sense of humor.
It just started man!!! Why people can't wait for the story to unfold? ? if you wanna know the whole story without…
Especially since the screenwriters have shown an exceptional mastery to build a perfect kaleidoscope of enigmas and correlated scenes, all finely tuned and full of details. It's quite obvious that this is the kind of story that gives explanations at the drop of a hat while maintaining suspense and mystery.
This drama reminds me of the American show Traveler (pretty awesome check it out). Since its only episode 4 out…
Yes, it's Barret M82 or M107. Mostly .50 cal. https://fr.wikipedia.org/wiki/Barrett_M82#/media/Fichier:Sniper_rifle_gun_range_Las_Vegas.jpg An anti-material rifle. But you see this weapon in all movies/series as an anti-personal gun, because... rule of cool. When Tae Eul and Seo Hae take cover behind the desk, it's near useless. The shooter can't see them, but the ammunition can perforate easely this kind of material.
The drama is both slow and fast, depending it's about the 2 main characters (slow) and secondary characters (fast). I get many feel-good with the 2 main leads, while others part is like moving pieces on a chessboard. All this leading for a very dark times, war & blood, separations. More dramatics events are needed at this point.
Wow the viewers are completely divided...either loving it or hating it.....for me I find it fast paced and not…
When a scene hit the target (me!), I don't see it as a filler, but rather development. Even here, quite natural and organic developement. I'm looking for meaning delivered during dialogues between main and secondary characters.
Kim so hyun was really born to be a star. She is simply amazing in whatever role she potrays. Cant wait for what…
I don't think she's going to become a leader to protect the people around her. She has made the choice to live peacefully and normally. So it will be too late to protect her own people, and what will motivate her will be a horrible event, such as the slaughter of the inhabitants of the ghost village. The drama takes the time to describe an idyllic situation and happy people, to better immerse us in the darkness and horrors of war. Just my intuition...
I hope that whoever thought that sliding above that glass ceiling was a super cool action idea is going to shoot…
They have difficulty staying serious. Moreover they always died laughing during the BTS. The BTS shows how this scene is shot on a green background. It does not fit because they are on a sloping side without sliding. But the wall of the conference room is much steeper, it's almost free fall. The scene could have been successful, if Seo Hae had simply hung a cable on top of this wall (there is a rail separating the roof and the wall).
Why did the shooter wait 5+ minutes to shoot? (check 10:15 - 17:15)Seemed really ridiculous. He was ready to shoot…
Is it possible to make such a huge mistake? The shooter had plenty of time to shoot while Tae Sul was making his speech, with an easy target! Later, when the head of the ICB arrives at the crime scene (31:00), he asks the question "Why did he miss his target so closely?". This gives clues that all this was probably done on purpose, and that there may be one explanation, or even two. - One of these explanations is that the shooter could not have been successful. He could have waited a whole hour instead of shooting. For the past and the future cannot be changed. There is proof that Tae Sul will build a time machine or get married. No matter how strange the previous or subsequent events may be, nothing can stop the time loop from repeating itself. - As for the second explanation, it would be related to time distortions caused by travelers. The drama is full of details on this subject.
Sorry... I don't agree... It has nothing to do with being a woman and more to do about "WHY aren't they shooting…
I can understand some of your disappointment because I was faced with this when I saw the famous drama The King Eternal Monarch. The confusion was useless on that show, but alas, so were most of the characters and situations, and on top of that it was boring. Not to mention that in the end, nothing was ever explained, and there were mistakes. I have the feeling that you feel exactly the same kind of frustration. Sometimes it even made me angry, that's to say! It's wiser to stop the drama when it's like that. Maybe not to read the recap in case you want to see it later. But wait until the end. If you find on a review that it was terrible and nothing was ever explained, then you will have escaped the fiasco. Otherwise, you can reconsider it.
I'm lucky, because here, conversely at TKEM, I really appreciate this gigantic puzzle, with a lot of clues and mysteries. Since the drama doesn't bother me for a second, it motivates me to take a closer look at it afterwards. I am fascinated by the complexity and the number of correlations. Almost nothing is useless, not even a dialogue. To be able to write this while maintaining the rhythm is a feat. Provided that it is explained, but I am confident in that, because you can see from episodes 3 and 4 that a lot of things are already explained, such as the world of the Brokers. And the telephone dialogue of the mysterious Mr. Park at the beginning of episode 2 becomes then understandable. One can say that the drama rewards the spectator. After this dialogue, we can make theories and maybe guess what it means, and the next episode, the drama gives us the explanation, to confirm if we have guessed correctly. Which TKEM never did. So I hope it will continue like that. New mysteries, and regular explanations for the previous mysteries.
The most useless part of the drama would paradoxically be a chase scene, like the one with the drones, which lasts too long. I guess they do that because the action attracts the audience. But since some of these scenes are badly done because of the green screens, it has rather the opposite effect on me. It takes me out of the serious mood. The director is uneven. Even he's great most of the time, except in this kind of scene. It seems that he hasn't made any progress on this since his previous drama "Legend of the blue sea", which already contained an action-comedy chase of rare ugliness (a motorcycle chase in Italy, around the beginning of the drama).
I advise you rather a drama such as 365 repeat the year or Memories of the Alhambra, you will find your bearings more easily.
This drama is really something and Kim So Yeon's acting is slowly becoming legendary.
All the actors are great in this. I have wait a long time for Uhm Ki Joon to get a main role, and here he is ! Eugene is great too, all of them, but I agree about Kim So Yeon. She crack the upper limit. In previous season, all the scenes around her father death, and this ultimate good scene ep20, around 50:00. In the special episode, all others actors mentionned her performance for this particular scene.
Oh!And I have also the "rewatch" disease. When I really like something, I can rewatch it endlessly.
I didn't want to post more on this topic because I already felt like I overloaded it, but I'm forced to do it to answer you: These are beautiful lyrics, it should be put as a presentation on your profile, or framed on a wall. If you write articles on MDL, you could do one on this subject!

Maybe because you don't use to do that. But when the drama is well done, you feel the thrill again! It's because how the scene itself is made, acting, directing, background music. It can even be more good than first time, because you are more relaxed, you have time to see details you missed before. It work with movies too. I rewatched room 1408 recently. Horror movie. It's not even one of my favorite movies. I know exactly how the plot unfold. But some scene are so well done, I couldn't stand the tension and fear when rewatching it, and jumped again during twists. W of course, you can rewatch it, you will always feel goosebump, because the piano suspens music. Other drama I rewatch : Jang ok Jung, you get the pleasure of every acting perf of Kim Tae Hee. Actually, The Penthouse is one of my new all time favorite drama. I could rewatch it easely, even if I know all the twists. There is outstanding acting performance in it, and each scene is funny to watch.
To be honest I really don't have problem with any of this above mentioned well we wrote article from point of…
You are right, the mood is very important. It's like... you are ready to watch a serious and dramatic story about zombies in Joseon. The drama is top one! But hey !!! It's not the good time. Actually, you want fun rom-com !!! It's better to know the mood before watching and eventually dropping, so not make a mood mistake. Latter, you will be happy to watch the zombies story, when you want sword and blood, and no more comedy. ;-)

Now I don't forsee War, but rather Court intrigues.
