Oh!And I have also the "rewatch" disease. When I really like something, I can rewatch it endlessly.
I tell a true story. After watching a drama I really like. Then I watch another drama. I can't get into it, and ask myself: Hey but why do I bother with that ? As well to rewatch what I really like, it's better than to put effort into something dull or half liked.
I do that two... dropping drama very near to the ending Haha.
It's really weird no ? In Descendant of the sun, the ML is presumed dead. I should be excited and watch last episode, just at least to know if he is really dead or not ? Baaah, no... I don't care. LOL ! What happens ? I would like to know. I don't know if it's because I don't want the drama to end, or just, I loose interest because I started to watch something else.
I drop sometimes but I need more proof. My main balance is just "is it boring ?". And I have a better tolerance, I can stand : - Clichés ( jerk ML, dumb FL, evil SFL, time jump, are even things I like ! Evil SFL is a big plus). - Spoilers (if a drama is really good, it means each scene is, and you watch it for how good it is each moment, not only because you wan't to be surprised by what happen next). - Triggering scenes (I like that, it's a good adrenalin burst, I take it like funny twists and enjoy acting). - Cringy (it's Ok too, except cheesy, I don't like cheesy).
I too have a weird disease : Drop before last episode. Even with dramas I like, like "Suspicious partner". I never watched the ending. I liked "Hotel del Luna" drama, but the latest episodes was becoming boring. So I dropped it just before last one. I tried to watch it later, I dropped after 5 min. It's as if I don't care the ending. Im watching drama because I like what is good in every episode, each scene. So the ending don't matter so much.
I also don't like how Soo Ryun and Logan aren't part of the main cast anymore, I literally continued this drama…
Logan Lee is the only character I like less than others. I was thinking it was because the actor. But then, I remember he was great as Gu Ho Dong. A weird and funny character.
Oh wow. So many comments. O.O Is it just me? I've been scrolling for minutes and seeing big ass paragraphs lol…
And it's really nothing! Here, people post quick opinion, what they like or dislike. On some other blogs/forum, main subject is more analysing episodes, trying to solve mysteries, making theory. It remind me a bit drama The King Eternal Monarch. The show are close on some aspects. I think Sisyphus is even more complex. Now, for some reasons, I disliked TKEM because it was boring or too much confusing when it didnt need to be. And this drama loose too much time about useless content. Here, we are at the core of the main theme, right from the beginning. And there is a good clarity. I'm more confident because we understand the action, even if we don't understand the mysteries. I enjoy to dig more in this case.
Sorry... I don't agree... It has nothing to do with being a woman and more to do about "WHY aren't they shooting…
Asking "Why" is part of the fun here, as there is many mysteries in the drama. It's even overloaded by mysteries. I think some of your questions will have an answer later. I can answer quick about 3 things :
'WHY nobody has seen you when you're praticaly next to the public with your shooting gun.'
It is on a raised balcony, as is sometimes the case in this kind of room. And this balcony was not occupied by the public. Probably closed.
"WHY DON'T WE HAVE A SINGLE SCENE WHERE IT'S EXPLAINED HOW THE POLICEMEN WHO SAW THESE DISMORPHED BODIES WHERE SHUT UP?"
ICB come on the scene (we see them, and even, he ask why the shooter missed), and will take the bodys. They will shut the case, we can guess easely. As the drama is 20ep into 16, no time is wasted to show some scene about this, but during the drone chase, you see ICB command center, and the chief ask to shut the medias.
"killed the owner of the restaurant"
There is no proof than ICB killed him. And even, it look like a false direction on purpose. Remember : ICB metting the owner, then owner hanging, it's two different scenes separated in the time narration. We can even guess that the crime was commited by Sigma.
I never thought I'd see such good character development from Jenny and her mother. That scene had teary eyed with…
Jenny is one of my favorite character from beginning. The actress is great. She was good as a bitche first. Then character development make her even best. Even more good : now, her mother, great actress Shin Eun Kyung (The Last Empress big bad) is involved. Until now, we saw her like as support actress, and I hope she will become a new big threat in this drama, because an actress like her should be ! This drama is so good, damn, I'm addict, thanks writer Kim Soon Ok.
Here is a slightly mature comment. I put it in spoiler as a precaution.
Kdramas show a great sense of modesty. So you have to read between the lines to know what mature content is involved. Here is the bed scene between So Jin and her ex-husband. And later, we see So Jin doubting her future marriage with director Joo. This means something a bit crude: So Jin is dissatisfied with her sexual relationship with Joo Dan Tae. For years, she didn't have sex with her former husband Ha Yoon Chul. The kind of thing that happens in married couples, especially if there are serious misunderstandings. But the bed scene in New York allowed the two characters to rediscover the pleasure they had at the beginning of their relationship. Ha Yoon Chul certainly has a gift to better satisfy this woman! She often calls him a loser, but at the same time, he has more sensitivity to understand his wife's needs in terms of pleasure and tenderness. So, it's sharp, but Joo Dan Tae is not a good bedtime fuck! At least, very inferior to Ha Yoon Chul.
If you look whole season 1 and more. When So Jin throws her 4 truths to someone else, it's almost always her truths that come out. There are countless scenes where she accuses others about something, and in reality, it applies to her first and foremost. Her accusations against others are accusations against herself. She makes fun of her former husband and accuses him of still having feelings for her. Translation: She is the one who is concerned! She still wants him!
I wanted to be sure, so not to give spoiler to you. ;-) Ok, it's a makjang, there is way to do this. Hidden sister, or new woman with plastic surgery. So, not the same character but same actress. But here, look like it's more based on importance of death. Many content of the drama is dark comedy, sometimes offbeat parody scenes. Also, the drama can be taken seriously about dramatics events or because great acting. Make the death irreversal reinforce this. But who know ? Season 3 maybe ? I suppose about Season 2 that the story can't accomodate with a new character like this, in the new plot. So, it's quite a good new, it means the writer focus first on a good structure than throw anything. Lee Ji Ah return could make a better impression during Season 3. So if the character appears during last cliffhanger of Season 2 , we will be fixed about this. If not, I doubt we see her anymore.
No spoiler, general opinion on Episode 1, I tried to understand what the writer did : Set up a new mystery. Exhibition of all the characters, and while done that : solve previous plots, make captivating or surprising scenes, start many subplots, then etablish the new situation during cliffhanger. All this very fast paced, with high level of crazyness, dark comedy, and various harsh content, abuse, violence, moral insanity. Overall clarity, right acting and high addicting power.
I drop in this comment section. Hi everybody!!! I just binge watched season 1 last week. So, I'm huge fan of this drama. I'm to the point to launch episode 1 of season 2. Then come back here when I watched 4 first episodes. Yooo!
Its shocking especially since this is a 22 million dollar show. It's JTBC's 10 Year anniversary drama, and this…
There is mysteries about that. When I watched the drama Signal, it was obvious for Scenes from the past. The images are distorted and contracted. It's ugly and makes the action unreadable. Worse, the actors' acting and their emotions are slaughtered. And it was so easy to change, make a normal picture, but with bolder black stripes, or any non destructive way. It's like nobody in the production rewatched the drama after editing !
Baaah, no... I don't care. LOL ! What happens ? I would like to know.

So, what best than a flower boy improving his acting skills ?
