On Mars: Tada, Kimi wo Aishiteru Feb 25, 2025
MARS was one of the first manga series I read back when I was in middle school, so when it got adapted into Live action TW-drama, I was excited to watched it. The TW version was a very true-to-manga adaptation. It totally captures the essence of the story to a tee. By comparison, JP version is not as accurate as the TW version. Lot of details were left out and change here (i.e. Rei did not participate in motorcycle races here nor did it explore Rei and Kira's family relationships).

I still enjoy the JP version since the main leads are cute together. Perhaps if they had more of a budget and made a second season instead of the seemingly rushed, follow-up movie, they could've gone a little more in depth with the characters.
On An Incurable Case of Love Feb 25, 2025
In the beginning I feel a bit cringey/second-hand embarrassment for the FL but it gets more and more natural seeing her and the ML together. She also became a great and reliable nurse so good chara development there. ML also became more charming and cute as he fall in love with her.

For some reason or another, I put this drama off so long but when I finally decide to go for it, it was well worth the watch and I enjoy it very much

I'm gonna missed LotDt but it will be going on my mental list of top rewatch dramas. 2025 has been a generous year so far as good endings goes. Hope it continues on.

No suicide in the end?
This is actually a very good interpretation of that last scene. I guess we were so pessimistic with the ending, relating it to the novel that we fail to see it that way. Its just that when they guess each other thoughts on the elope part with tears in their eyes I thought their elopement meant something else entirely. Maybe we all overthink when they just trying to give us a better ending than the novel lol😅

he knows she isn’t MQG. episode 29 showed that he knew it was MRW.
She always complains no one loved her, so lets see if WSZ's love will change her for the better although I don't have much hope for that since shes so greedy for everything. I'm getting the feeling he will sacrifice his life to save her later on
On The First Frost Feb 20, 2025
Haven't started watching this yet. Plan on waiting till more episodes aired. But does anyone know if Zhao LuSi and Chen Zhe Yuan will have cameo roles here as a little crossover with Hidden Love?

I remember hearing that part and thought he meant MQG saved him in the past life and he was grateful to MQG without knowing the one before him is fake. Didn't think he was really in love with MRW. Well even villains have their admirers I guess lol

Oh thanks. I mustve missed that part since I was sick of her self pity antics. I look away when shes on screen

The amnesia shows just how complicated the history and relationship is between the two leads. The way everyone…
Should they tell him shes his Master, disciple, lover or all three? Yeah totally hilarious 😂

It was Uncle Ye Xin indeed!!!
Yes I did! but what I didn't anticipate was Uncle Ye Xin turn out to be Dun Tian, the immortal who sacrificed his wife and 2 daughters to obtain immortality.

Now I'm wondering, what are the chances of Mu QingGe and Mu RanWu being his reincarnated daughters? Too farfetch?

I usually don’t like this teacher-student or master/disciple relationships. But this? I like this. I actually…
Me too. Really like that they don't deny their feelings for each other here just because they have a Master-Disciple relationship even though it may be considered somewhat taboo. I love their heresy and dare to love and hate attitude! lol

Stark differences from 2015 The Journey of Flower. When I think about that drama, it invokes a lot of heartache and headaches for absolutely no reason. Bai Zi Hua (the master) was totally a stubborn mule who rejected his feelings for Hua Jian Gu (his disciple) until the very end. And the poor girl could never catch a break with so many people against her

i really wanted to watch this but the reviews above send me in great doubt 😭 pls tell me if it’s worth watching
Well it wouldn't be topping the charts if majority didn't think it was good but there are always those with different opinions and criticism. Its not like every drama is perfect either, I just don't think the flaws outweigh the positives here

What I don't understand is why someone would says its boring after they finish watching the entire drama. lol If it were me, a few initial episodes would be enough to help me decide whether to continue further or dropped it. I would not have the patient to sit thru watching an uninteresting drama and spending everyday for the last month awaiting each episodes that comes out while it airs.

I am just ranting here. Thinking about it more, the bastards who tortured A Zan not only physically but emotionally with some girl's body similar to Ran Ran, should suffer and die a hundred-fold over. Such inhumane creatures...

Its really heartbreaking, just when A Zan got back up on his feet again, ready to get back to a normal life... if only they had left Eastern Country a few days earlier, none of these would happen...

Title The White Olive Tree Spoiler
The ending is so bittersweet, sad yet peaceful. This is an ending unlike any other. The couple never separated and deeply love each other till the very end and even got married but their mental trauma remains and they have no choice but to live (or die) together with it. I can't say for sure if this is a sad ending or a happy ending, because its kinda difficult to describe and either would seem somewhat superficial. Its such a deep drama on so many levels, so I guess its really up to the audience's interpretation.

Adding to this, A Zan and Ran Ran is such a beautiful couple with phenomenal chemistry.
I hope CZY and LJ can collaborate again.

Because that's how her character is even in the novel itself She is a great actress if u watch eternal love and…
Not exactly a fan but as someone who watch a good number of her dramas, I must say she is one of the few actresses (aside from my favorite Li Landi) who can act very naturally on screen with a nice, unique voice that never gets dubbed over by others and that shows she got real talent. I find her face sweet as well like a little kitty. lol So I don't understand all these hate and criticism that aren't even constructive
On The White Olive Tree Feb 12, 2025
I can't watch todays and tomorrow episodes. Really not liking this angsty, distancing they're doing and LZ giving her the cold shoulder even though I know his purpose is to protect her from getting hurt. I'll wait till they back together to continue watching lol

Title The White Olive Tree Spoiler
People should stop blaming FL, on top of everything going on with her mom and Li Zan, she just receive news that she could go blind without a cornea transplant and even with transplant success rate is low. She knows LZ wants to go back to Eastern Country, so she probably doesn't want to hold him back. By texting him not to contact her again, this could be her attempt to hide her condition from him and not distract or worry him while hes there. Both of them hide things from each other out of love and care, aint just one-sided on her end. It will resolve itself eventually as from trailers she will return to East Country probably missing him and wants to see him in her last moments before losing her vision and all. There will be another emotional and heartful confessions between them again when they reunite I'm sure.
