Beside the actress that plays the FL and one other actor, I have never seen any of the other actors and actresses in this drama before. Their faces are all very new to me, so maybe that explain the low ratings.

Though I think its still a decent, low budget drama. Cute story but nothing over the top. And they use a popular song Grain in Ear that probly every chinese knows as the main theme, catchy but does not really make it stand out.

I don't know if its just me who feel this way, but when I listen to RJL's real voice compared to the voice actor who dubbed him in LoN, I don't notice too big of a difference except if I were to describe it, RJL's real voice sound like a younger version of the VA's voice in the drama. I like his real voice too, but the VA's voice has this deep, mature and stableness to it that really fit the character hes playing and also fit the actor very well that I almost thought it was his real voice at first.

Fairly speaking, this drama probably has the best, most well thoughtout and strongly executed endings out of all the c-dramas I've ever watched (or ones I'v been addicted to). It started fresh and ended fresh which was such a delight to follow.

I enjoy it so much that now I'm still reluctant to move on from this wonderful drama. Hopefully, upcoming dramas can maintain such quality writings after LGiEF's success.

If its any consolation, you guys should watch the credits scene to the end in the Final episode. They do have a full kiss it seem but they tilt their heads so we cannot get the full view. Lol Director is such a tease

I'm wondering why MS affection level can go as low as negative -250% but can only go as high as 100% and now hes stuck at 99%? Lol if you were to love someone 250%, is that like too much to the point that its consider dark love or obsession?

I agreed since like episode 20-21 where they concluded the black bracelet arc in such an unsatisfying way. They fail to acknowledge that MM was bewitch into marrying the Marquis and the lack of confession of feelings between MC. The flow of the whole drama which has been smooth thus far seem to be broken. Although I think they quickly pick themselves back up again so I am still enjoying it.

I love that part too. Like everyone made MM out to be this powerful Guardian Master or "special one" and expected her to be able to pull the staff out and she got so nervous, worried she'll let everyone down. When she failed, she went straight to her MY jiejie arms like a sad little child that need comforting from her mom when she lost a competition. Its so relatable and so funny cute at the same time. Lol scene was so wholesome. Just ❤️ it.

My thoughts exactly! but my guess is they trying to control how much media attention/popularity certain idols/celebrities have so fans don't go too crazy over them

Hey I'm the same way when I'm addicted to a drama! After working all day, I try staying awake for the sake of falling asleep at a later time so I can wake up to the newly aired episodes but I end napping early once I lay in bed. Now its like 9pm where I am, I just woke up and screw myself for the rest of the evening. 😂

I guess I'll play some games to keep myself occupy until my brain tells me to fall asleep again

Oh wow thanks for reposting this list of short theaters. I didn't know they have these. So adorable. When the casts are having so much fun, we get a feast full of joy as well.

They shouldve add these at the end of each episode like with My Love from the Star (k-drama). I worry people who watch this drama later on may not have access to these little cute tidbits which makes the whole drama more enjoyable.

Agreed. I always watch her videos with a grain of salt. I like hearing her opinions on the entertainment industry, her expertise on c-dramas and the actings per say, but in the end I make my own decision on what to like/watch. When our preference aligned, then thats satisfying but when not I wouldn't dwell on it too much because sometimes, she does make some valid points. For example with LoN, I see it as a gem while she thinks its unwatchable. Its just not everyone like the same cup of tea and everyone also have their own standard on what's considered "good" so there are times the negative points that she mention isn't enough to turn me away from such dramas.

I may be loving LGiEF right now but I still can't get over LoN drama. I keep coming back here to torture myself among all the happiness 😂

I'm glad both LLD and RJL won awards for their roles here though. Well deserved.

I just accepted the fact that some people are just born cute, sound cute and then everything they do is also naturally cute. The world is big afterall and that person happen to be Ester who decided to become a dancer singer idol and grace us with her onscreen presence moving our hearts with her sunny personality. I'm actually envious. Shes really adorable.

I'm debating with myself right now on whether I should read the manhua webtoon on not. I don't want to spoil my enjoyment of this wonderful drama but at the same time it would really help curb my craving while we wait for new episodes... this is tough. What do you guys think?
