Like everyone else, I look forward to second season but I hope Wei Gong didn't really die. Wei gong too good and too strategically, wise a character to just kill off. If hes not in season 2, I don't know how it'll turn out, its like losing a whole dynamic chara. Also sad that everyone forgot about Xu Qi'An, so hope it will be just temporary for a small part of the next season.
Oh no wtf please dont tell me that mother-in-law will force an abortion on her. That is so vicious and evil. Even if she thinks that baby does not belong to her son, she couldve just make them divorce.
I'm kinda afraid of watching this drama with previews of what seem like a toxic relationship and a possible death of their child...yikes but I really like Joseph so I will probably tune in anyway. Just hope it won't be too tragic
Let see what Xu Qi An will request as reward for defeating the Dharma. Hopefully he didn't get the wrong idea from Princess Lin An cuz im kinda sensing some misunderstanding there despite Lin An saying she made it clear to him. 😂
at ep 23, we can all agree that Huaqing really cares for Lin'an. Am I the only one who thinks that the silver…
I think he look alright in silver but agreed he look better in black. If he does get promoted to gold gong though by the end of this drama, I think not only will he look odd but its also gonna be food for laughter. lol
The first role I've known her from is in Princess Pearl S3 as Zhi Hua then all the way till now its like she haven't aged a day. Still so young and graceful
A very original classic. Though I must ramble a little, forcing the FL to abort her 2nd child because he was afraid, she may give birth to another child that could be mute was really unsettling... She lived her entire life being discriminated for being mute (and she still manage to become such a kind and graceful soul) then even her own husband treats her like this. He robbed her chance of proving that she can give birth to a normal baby not to mention harm her own flesh and blood. If I were FL, I would hate and never forgive him either. Can't believe he brought a son that he has with another woman home after many years away and still expect FL to forgive him? Previously, she wanted to get him a 2nd wife, he was so adamant that he loves her only and wouldn't want other women, yet later he became a hypocrite and ruined everything.
Its such a pity, things were going so well in the beginning, and they were a very sweet couple too, until it took that turn. Who knows, this may be the lesson Qiong Yao trying to convey- Tragedies happens when you fear the unknown.
OMG such a beautiful ending but anyone else watch the extra ending after the credit's scene? Seem like this hint at more sequels of Blossom! Wonder if they will be in another drama together or will there be new leads
The thing to keep in mind when watching these type of older Chinese dramas, that the actors often act in a little more exaggerated and dramatic manner almost like when you watch a play on stage and they would often describe their own feelings in a very long heartfelt yet very poetic way. Its just that kind of style back then and something you often see in any Qiong Yao's works. It may be outdated but it still has its charm and tearful sentimentality if you give it a chance
We know that Zhao is 23 or 24 years old, but what is Song Mo’s age?
I would like to know too. When they went back in time, Song Mo version as a kid seem a few years younger than Zhao so I think shes definitely a little older
Beside the actress that plays the FL and one other actor, I have never seen any of the other actors and actresses in this drama before. Their faces are all very new to me, so maybe that explain the low ratings.
Though I think its still a decent, low budget drama. Cute story but nothing over the top. And they use a popular song Grain in Ear that probly every chinese knows as the main theme, catchy but does not really make it stand out.
Hi everyone, why is the ML voice dubbed over with another person's voice? It looks to really good drama. It bit…
I don't know if its just me who feel this way, but when I listen to RJL's real voice compared to the voice actor who dubbed him in LoN, I don't notice too big of a difference except if I were to describe it, RJL's real voice sound like a younger version of the VA's voice in the drama. I like his real voice too, but the VA's voice has this deep, mature and stableness to it that really fit the character hes playing and also fit the actor very well that I almost thought it was his real voice at first.
Fairly speaking, this drama probably has the best, most well thoughtout and strongly executed endings out of all the c-dramas I've ever watched (or ones I'v been addicted to). It started fresh and ended fresh which was such a delight to follow.
I enjoy it so much that now I'm still reluctant to move on from this wonderful drama. Hopefully, upcoming dramas can maintain such quality writings after LGiEF's success.
💯Approved for Season 2!
