Hm i didnt say WJY needs to show big emotional feelings in return. Ofc I do know that her role there is an assassin. Its the eyes and facial expressions thats needed to be portray in the right moment that I thought was off like she couldnt completely grasp her character. I think AvenueX did a better job explaining this, I don't always share the same opinion as her regarding dramas but for KMLM, I agreed with her points.

Just came from A Moment but Forever and I'm also glad theres a new Xianxia drama to dive into to break the sadness/boredom but lol why does the trailer seem like this will be such an emotional draining drama to watch? Seem like too much hatred and misunderstanding going around here. I may have to put it off till more episodes come in

Ahhh This ending came too fast for me, I was totally not ready to let go...😭😭

In any case, LXY and Tiffany did such a wonderful job and match each other so well. I think this is the most chemistry LXY had with a female lead so far. Perfect example of expressiveness that's on par with each other; you can totally feel the love in both their gazes and gestures.

In previous dramas, it seems like LXY was carrying the FLs instead, like with Kill Me Love Me, god when responding to LXY's burst of emotional expressions, Wu Jin Yan little to dead expressions was so unbalanced, it keeps breaking me away from their love story. (Ofc I'm not trying to say WJY is a bad actress, I love her in The Double and Story of Yanxi Palace. Just don't know why just KMLM was so weird)

So for the ending, they explain that only JTY flesh had perish but her primordial spirits still lingers around him, and they will still get a chance to meet again thus an open ending. YZ also will become a god and takes over Taihe position. I believe there are hope that we may get more closure to their endings in the sequel drama to this, The Perfect Match since I saw that YZ will appear there.

Exactly. If its as gruesome as Attack on Titans, I may have to reconsider my watch choice 😂

So while our couple are happily and blissfully together, evil forces from Human kind, Youhu clan and Demon clan, not to mention the two faced Hannu decided to join forces to plot against YZ demise... that sure is unsettling

I hope by the end of this drama, everything will be like JTY said that all the wicked will get their just retribution.

Oh I just realize YZ 's weapon spirits were all sealed at places that JTY had been to in the past. So they all unconsciously connects to their creator too huh. Interesting...

From what I can see, YZ is a very insecure person because of all the suffering he had to endure in his life so that is why he keep sounding JTY out to find out for sure if she also shares his feelings. They seem to be in a good place right now by the end of Ep 26 but judging by the trailers, we got more angst waiting for us. He will continue to reconfirm her feelings for him and want her to express it verbally as well, but her dilemma is she cannot say she loves him directly because of the heavenly oath and this may lead to misunderstandings that can spell detrimental to their relationship.

I had the drama slump the entire month of March. Instead of forcing myself to watch some old Asian dramas that I know im not in the mood to watch atm or will get bored of, I intermittently switched to American shows like Reacher, 911, The Rookies, The Pitt, The Wheel of Time and Outlanders just to name some thats trending now. They're interesting and a great change of pace from eye candy c-dramas and it kept me occupied until the next big c-drama that suit my taste come along. Just to help give an idea, maybe switching to something of different cultures and a little more gritty in nature can be refreshing again for you

If all else fail and watching anything give you headaches, maybe just find somewhere peace and quiet to read some webtoons. I used Abyss Reader on my android which can help you find many scanslated sources

The men who care for JTY really knows how to take revenge on her behalf. Her Laoshi Xie You gave YZ a palm strike since YZ hurt her during the war and then Fu Jiu Yun provoke his super jealousy by flirting and made him cover for his food expense. All because they believe she fell for YZ and shes just too good for him. YZ gonna have to suffer in the long haul if more of her past admirers shows up 😂

So just wondering what the order of timeline is here...

I was half joking lol but you never know. You'll be surprise by how much big companies ridiculously put out lawsuits to prevent their ideas from being "reuse". Look at Disney and then Nintendo with Palworld. Its about copyrights and infringements in their eyes.

Oh I found it! In Blood of Youth Ep. 6, right after the battle with the old man where WuXin disintegrate his own martial arts skills at approx 32:20 in he start mumbling the "One thought, becomes a demon and one thought, becomes a buddha" line. Glad my memory did not fail me! LOL

I like the way he delivers that line in this drama accompany by the madness though

I also find it cute when the hairpin seller said that hairpins are especially given by lovers/husband to their wife as love tokens to signify lifelong commitment and he decided to buy it for her without a second thought, even to the point of committing fraud. lol 🤣❤️

Well (as of Ep 18), FL may have sworn oath not to disclose her real identity, but she is not trying at all to hide anything else about herself or her background. Shes has been upfront and as honest as she could (Really like that about her), and ML is inching closer and closer in his guesses.

At the moment, he thinks shes the Mute Goddess of Wu Mountain, a title given by humans when she saved them long ago. He knows both Wu Shuang and the Mute Goddess are both disciples of her teacher, Xie You, so he assumes shes the latter but little did he know she is also Wu Shuang. I believe he will figure it out soon enough

Same here. I really like Baron Chen. He has a unique masculine charm, youthful yet mature, I couldnt take my eyes off him. Sometime I would rewatch Heroes or some of his older dramas because I missed seeing him on screen.

Despite the heated discussions and criticisms in here, can we take a moment to appreciate how precious Ah Zhi is. The child actress did a wonderful job in ep. 24. I never thought I would cry again after FL's mother death but here I am unable to stop the tears once Ah Zhi start hugging HanYan and begging her not to leave. Really nothing is more powerful and touching than a child's love to snap you back from the brink of being consume by revenge.

And tbh, imo the real OTP of this drama is the mother daughter bonds. HanYan and YunXi romance is more secondary, no use getting anxious over their scenes
