For a guy that lost his complete inner force, ML still can fight rather well, maybe not on BFX, Prince Huang and…
Still don't understand that father. True he's mad that Hei FX have a hidden identity but why disable his inner force. Normally father should be thrill of their son's talent and ability. Clipping his wings like that is a bit extreme.
I think this actor along with out oldtime actors deserves more credits for all his roles especially those in the 90s and 80s. Although they're old but many are classics and are very good. The full list of all his dramas is here:
I don't know why YBY is getting hated but I definitely like her character here more than when she was in Love and Redemption. She has way more chemistry with ZYC than any other of her male costars. Every time they're together, everything just gets hotter and more seductive like they can't keep their hands off of each other lol. I don't remember ever seeing a more flirtatious couple in a costume drama before. If only this drama was longer. Hope they can star in another drama together soon.
Chinese loves to stop drama from airing. That means millions of dollars went to waste not to mention all the time and hard work other casts and crew went to to film the whole drama just because one person have a scandal. If only they can sell the dramas outside of China for International audience, because we don't really care lol
Don't understand why they kept delaying this drama. Monkey King is a Chinese cultural story thats been remade many times over. What can be so bad about airing this one?
I've been so set on watching Chinese dramas for the past half year (i.e. Story of Minglan, The Untamed, King's Avatar, Joy of Life and many others) that I've forgotten how hooked I can be toward a good K-Drama...
Anyway now that I'm running out of some good C-Dramas to watch, this drama is perfect. It reminds me of King 2 Hearts, with the North-South Korean conflicts. I hope for all our hearts, we'll get a good ending for this too.
Wasn't 13th Prince suppose to be imprison for 10 years before the emperor passed away according to history? Or Did I miss any part of the show that explains that?
Hes definitely attracted to brave and assertive women. Ming Wei being the good one of the two with a sense of justice to her which is rare in the palace and he wanted to protect that but I think Ming Hui is really the one who he has an affinity toward since shes cunning and crafty similarly to himself (although he is not as evil as she is) and he also empathize with her "survival of fittest" mindset and the need for revenge.
This is definitely K-Drama fuse with Black Mirror concepts and it being on Netflix to cater toward more western audience equals to them deciding to leave it at a frustrating cliffhanger after only 8 episodes. If it was simply just a normal Korean Drama, it would go up to 16-20 episodes at least and it'll most likely wrap up with some sort of an ending all on the first season because korean dramas rarely have a second season.
Curious why it's tagged as a "period drama" too, woah
Thats because the main couple in the novel/drama met around 10 years early (in 2009) before our current timeline and it detailed their love life throughout that period of time til now. It has nothing to do with time travel or later ancient period time settings if thats what you're wondering. This is still definitely a modern-day romance drama.
I really like Raymond Lam... It doesnt look like theres anything censor wise about this remake that China has to worry about...don't know why theyre delaying it so much...
