The open ending seem to suggest as if there will be a second season but with all those deaths I don't know what else is there to the story to tell beside HJ and her son finding BC. Maybe if they introduce a whole nother list of characters and create new conflicts but seem unlikely.
I've got to say Beicheng has been a bit more measured, calmer with Hangjing since her return. He really loves…
That is very true. I also like the way he matured here. I think he is trying very hard to control himself this time around. He is being very careful and patient with her as if he's afraid she may leave him again.
https://youtu.be/ew7gL9qmwyYIn this preview for Ep 36-37, he explains that she was only undercover to complete…
I'll just roughly translate but I am not that good, my understanding is still limited.
The last scene in that preview,
Shen Yan Qing (her fake undercover husband) said: Although the child is no longer here, every year you would make clothes for him/her and has never put it away (or forget). Han Jing: If the child survives, he would've been one year older (now) and he would be speaking a lot of words... SYQ: Now all the misunderstandings have been resolved. You also know that the child's death had nothing to do with Bei Chen. I think after the mission is complete, you should return to his side. I can see that you still have feelings toward him. HJ: Between Xiao Bei Chen and I, there's too many, too many cracks...
Something I've been wondering about but forgot to ask my fellow watchers here.
Other people like her half sister, friend and the crown prince and from what we've seen throughout the drama, all seem to point out that Liu Ling has great skill in archery/shooting, but why does Shen Yan keep saying Liu Ling's archery skill is bad or not up to par?
Don't know if there's anything significant to that from the novel we don't know about.
Been a while since I watch such an angsty drama and angsty drama can annoy me because most of the time there are so many misunderstandings that it almost seems unreal and cliche lol. Why can't this couple just be honest with each other?
I finished episode 5 and still not into it. Should I drop it or does it get better ?
Up to you, everybody's taste is different. You can read the reviews here then make a decision or hold off and finish it whenever you feel like it. I tend to do that.
I remember when "Miss the Dragon" first aired last year, the first few episodes turned me off so I dropped it mainly because the scenes at the beginning seem like it was taken from other dramas (like Ten Miles of Peach Blossom) of a similar genre at the time and I wasn't really a fan of the main leads. I picked it up again a few weeks ago and it turn out to be quite a refreshing watch (love the bromance between 1st and 2nd male leads).
Take your time. Everything depends on your mood I guess and that may often changes.
You know what rule I learn? NOTHING will ever go wrong when a drama is adapted from the novel correctly with all the details and with minimal changes. Even if there are changes, it should be made in a way that is reasonable and make sense based on the plot and characters. That kind of drama would be a hit with high rewatch value. Unfortunately for this drama even with all its current hype (thanks to the main leads), the writing seems way too sloppy and rushed. I would finish watching this drama, put it on the shelf and never touch it again.
Bai Lang Hua is so ridiculous, always accusing our FL for nothing, it's not like they didn't know each other for…
Exactly what I was thinking. That girl needs a brain check. Bai FX basically watches over her ever since she was born like an older sister, but she lets herself think being the only bio-daughter to the Sect leader gets to her head and keeps suspecting Bai FX of trying to take away her authority. Its not like she saw Bai FX killed her father, but was so quick to jump to conclusion then trying to kill her without listening to her side of the story. She officially makes me hate her more than Hei FX's father. I can't wait to see the look on her face when she finds out Bai FX is actually the Princess/Empress to-be of a nation. Why would she want the puny position of sect leader, taking care of a bunch of backstabbing idiots?
Bai FX's junior sister is so annoying, always doubting BFX and being reckless, even though other moments she acts so close to her but when it matters the most she doesn't believe her and stabs her in the back. Why can't she use her brain for once?
But in his new drama sassy pincess it was dubbed by other. So sad ðŸ˜ðŸ˜
Srsly?? I couldn't tell! I thought it was his voice but tone sounded slightly more mature to match his character. Lol well I have to say, the voice actor did a wonderful (and sexy) job dubbing him, so I have no complaint.
For a guy that lost his complete inner force, ML still can fight rather well, maybe not on BFX, Prince Huang and…
Still don't understand that father. True he's mad that Hei FX have a hidden identity but why disable his inner force. Normally father should be thrill of their son's talent and ability. Clipping his wings like that is a bit extreme.
I think this actor along with out oldtime actors deserves more credits for all his roles especially those in the 90s and 80s. Although they're old but many are classics and are very good. The full list of all his dramas is here:
I don't know why YBY is getting hated but I definitely like her character here more than when she was in Love and Redemption. She has way more chemistry with ZYC than any other of her male costars. Every time they're together, everything just gets hotter and more seductive like they can't keep their hands off of each other lol. I don't remember ever seeing a more flirtatious couple in a costume drama before. If only this drama was longer. Hope they can star in another drama together soon.
Chinese loves to stop drama from airing. That means millions of dollars went to waste not to mention all the time and hard work other casts and crew went to to film the whole drama just because one person have a scandal. If only they can sell the dramas outside of China for International audience, because we don't really care lol

Too bad she's not dead and will continue to do evil in later episodes...
