I watched 4 of his short dramas so far where he is the main lead and all of them have a good storyline and are very funny. This actor has an unusual and gentle charm about him. Looking forward to see more of his projects.

This mini-drama is an unexpected surprise! Brilliantly executed on the fight scenes and the comical way they tried to hide their identity (yup, Mr. & Mrs. Smith - ancient Chinese style!) They could've made this into a movie and I would pay to go see it. Really enjoy every second of it.

I like this short-drama the best out of all Richard Li's SDs. Really too bad theres not second season.

Just my speculation, but I think even if they do bed, LAR will take something like contraceptive soup to prevent pregnancy... She lost her first child and miscarry her second because of MZ (first life), can't imagine she want to go through that trauma again

I'm glad this drama is still burning hot, because no matter how many c-dramas I watched so far, I still can't get over it and kept coming back to rewatch. I feel like I can't get over my ex lol. Pray China will release a quality drama on the level of LLTG soon but no matter what this one is truly special in my heart.

Before they pan out of the candle, MZ only hug her from behind and he told her not to worry, he will not do anything to her as he tries to show her hes sincere and will not touch her if she don't feel the same. His last words were "We still have our whole life ahead of us, I will wait for you slowly..." Her back was still facing him. So the way I see it, the mood of that scene did not indicate that they had sex. It was just his attempt to get closer to her while she was already too familiar with all his manipulative lies to fall for it.

They slept next to each other on the same bed but did not "sleep" together (aka made love) ... sigh hes such a psycho, I would throw up afterward if I had to actually sleep with such a man. Shes too disgusted with him at this point

Maybe I shouldn't have read the synopsis or watched the trailer beforehand but I cringed watching the first few episodes, knowing Mu Ze will treat the FL horribly. I think they should have a younger actor play Mu Ze/2nd ML because he looks so much older than her and they're actually 10 years apart in real life so I struggle to understand why the FL, who was supposed to be smart with a keen sense in business would fall for him in a matter of only a few days (2nd meeting?) I see no attraction between them. I mean she is the eldest lady in charge of her family business and 36 ports (thats a big number)! One would think she should be more mature and guarded against people who might try to get close to her with ulterior motives and she barely knows anything about the guy.

Well, I think theres a difference between time traveling from modern time versus time travel "reset" where you restart your life again in the same era. FL is not from the modern day and she only has knowledge about her future so it is okay.

LLTG is just the average historical, romance, family, and realism drama but one of the top if not the best of the genres.

Still suffering from LLTG withdrawals but not as bad since I have something to look forward to the next few weeks, although I still come back to rewatch this drama. LBFAD couple really shares in the similarities lol

Actually, contrary to the novel, drama CSS did not get engage with YSJ, it was fake to put Empress Xian at ease and Empress knew this and told HBY.

No, I repeat that scene many times too. It was chilling and breathtaking. HBY expression when he tells Ling Yi his true name as he took his life was exhilarating, somewhat satisfying mixed with evil pleasure... a tiny bit psychotic even. The shot when he finishes saying his name "...Shang" was sexy.

I wouldn't mind seeing him play a serial killer in a movie/drama in the future.

The writer clearing toying with our heart, LBY has like 4 chances to confess the truth to CSS before he massacres Ling family, but each time he was interrupted by someone...

At the end of the drama, news of them getting married in Hua County reach SS's grandma and Emperor Wen in the Capital (he got pissed that hes not there) but no actual wedding scene was shown.
