The drama did not end on a high note like I had anticipated. I would've like more out of DJ, but it was not a bad ending. They try to tie up loose ends with a little twist and turn although I think it created more confusion among the audience. However, its not the worst ending I've come across and the overall journey was thrilling and enjoyable.
Okay, I heard C-Drama land has banned Time-travel drama. This may be one of the reason this drama isn't airing. Then again, this ban is more recent, there may've been other reasons before that.
The thing with Japanese drama is that they often try to follow their manga to a tee. And often it really works out with that special sense of humor or suspense but for a smutty romance manga like Koi to Dangan, not only did they missed most of the comedy, its a bit cringey when they try to adapt the love scenes as well. Lol
That said, its not entirely unwatchable though, I do want to see how they end up.
QUESTION OF THE DAY,Name the character you love the most in the drama.(Plzz name only one)
1st - Grandpa vs Do Jun (I can't decide, theyre both brilliantly played)
2nd - Dong Ki (2nd uncle) played by Jo Han Chul. I can't forget him as the Hippie dad in Hometown Cha Cha Cha and the psycho in Law Cafe. Lol this actor is so versatile.
I'm at the edge of my seat, this drama is amazing! Having romance or not doesn't matter here. While DJ's romance with SMY is nice but the real chemistry is between Grandpa and Do Jun.
I hope Grandpa will be able to leave everything to DJ successfully, but even if he can't, we know DJ can win or buy all of Sunyang's asset back.
My worry is Grandpa might pass away next episode or two and we lose those amazing dynamics.
Its interesting how they explain Naksu's resurrection.
If I understand it correctly, the current body, flesh and blood is Bu-Yeons' but the soul is Naksu and as Bu-Yeon's body healed it slowly changes to that of Naksu original form (face) because Naksu's soul overpower BY.
Lol writer does a lot of thinking to bring original Naksu back to us.
Cheerleading in Korea and West is quite different from what I have seen. I wrote about it in a comment below as…
The thing is even during the competition, the other school also had the same moves... the only thing that was different are the songs... I don't understand, if I was the audience, I came to watch a performance, but instead being continuously asked to perform with them while they does the same cheerleading over and over, how is that exciting? At the end of the day its like a charisma or popularity contest on who can rile up the audience more? I feel its like an overdramatization. lol I guess i'm used to the American cheerleading and can't get used to this.
No offense but honestly, I wouldn't recommend this drama to anyone. No to the cheerleading, no to the frustrating romance and characters.
This must be one of the laziest choreographed cheerleading I've ever seen. Moves are basic, repetitive and lack creativity. I don't know if they only allow this kind of cheerleading in South Korea or if the writer/director just wants to better focus on the characters and romance. The flashback where there were kids cheerleading was better. Anyway, I think I'm tapping out.
Debating on whether I should start watching this drama or wait on more episodes. So far, I can't get used to seeing FSF's eyebrows... am I the only one that think its weird?
I've only recently started watching JHI's dramas but I went crazy. Seriously, why is this actor so charming? His glance and smile alone could naturally seduce any female, yet at the same time seem so innocent.
At some point in the drama it started feeling repetitive just because it rests upon who gets hold of the guns/grenades and having the upper hand. Like a hot potato being passed back and forth too many times that it became a little draggy.
The chemistry of main couple though was blazing and undeniably sizzling. It wasn't enough and it leaves me thirsting for more. How I wish they would star in another drama together but I feel the chance of that happening may be low, just because Jisoo whos a member of the super hit girl group BlackPink. Unless she decides to continue pursuing career in acting.
his wife deceived it. honestly, she is so stupid knowing she is pregnant and still do dangerous things like climbing…
First, I also agreed that she was careless when climbing that mountain. Could she not have one of her colleagues do it? We all love a doctor who goes the extra mile to save their patients but not to the point of noble idiocy sacrificing their safety when there are so many other options. For someone who had a miscarriage before in the past, it was unrealistic. She was lucky she didn't lose the baby at that time.
Okay, later considering she was only 4 months pregnant she probably believed she was still able to carry out her job fine. Most pregnant women continue working until they hit 3rd trimester or closer to their due date, so it's understandable. It was unexpected that the patient kicks her away and she landed on a rebar. which lead to her surgery and Tong Ming's decision to save one of the two. But, Tong Ming's way of going about it was questionable even though it was an emergency. Before she went under anesthesia, he lied to her, gave her false hope that he will be able to save them both then once she sleeps he led the OB team in to perform the abortion. I think if this was a regular patient, they would sue him. She was conscious and he did not inform her nor get her consent, thus I think her anger and disappointment were justified. TM really set himself up there, but Zoe should realize he is not god, he can't save everyone and unfortunately, it came at a price.
I came across this web series after watching a bunch of other short mini-dramas to pass time but I have to say, it's one of the lowest-budget dramas I've ever seen being made. You can tell by the quality of the costumes, props, hair and makeup, not to mention the acting is really subpar. Sigh~ If you're curious how bad it is, feel free to check it out, otherwise skip it if you don't have time to spare.
