Hoping Gao Han will get more recognition and bigger roles in the future. I have liked all the roles hes in so far, although hes been only supporting but he really stands out and leaves a strong impression every time.

I'm like C'mon, Master YinFan, please be a different kind of shifu from all the other shifus in past dramas. Believe in your disciple and stay on her side. Really though I thought he liked ChongZi honest and outspoken character and doesn't discriminate her because of her demon breath. Not sure why hes so set on viewing Chu BuFu as completely evil when he seem pretty close with him in the first episode. He seem a little out of character this time.

I also like her outgoing and spirited character. Maybe because she hasn't learned magic spells or sword yet so she's just all bark but no bite at the moment against the other disciples but I'm thinking she will eventually mature.

So far I really like Jeremy's character as Master Yin Fan. He is so gentle, even when he scolds his disciple. Not only does he spoil Chong Zi, but he also stands up for her and doesn't want her to suffer in any way.

I'm gonna start following this drama. Really hope it won't be like Journey of a Flower...

Thanks for answering. I was wondering if the rigorous testing system in Asia gave rise to most parent's competitiveness and such demanding after-school program/classes. Yes, I've heard the term's "tiger mom" as well which sound quite suffocating tbh. You're right, its also depends on your family and how much importance they place your education. I guess its more easy going in the U.S. though.

Just a thought though... are parents in Korea or Asia really that competitive and selfish as portray in dramas? That Soo-Ah mother-daughter duo annoyed me so much. Every student deserve to have a tutor if they need and seriously working hard to succeed. Its really underhanded of them to make a big deal out of this.

@Cesia_07 Me too! I think our first priestess is probably the best out of the four! How I dream some Chinese producer will make Genbu Kaidan or the whole FY series into a c-drama someday but most likely will never happen. Sigh- I just love her unique art, story and sense of humor.
Too bad Byako Senki is still unfinished. From what I gathered Yuu Watase has not been in the best of health. I can only pray she recover and complete the final installment to this wonderful manga.

Oh I'm glad you know of the manga. That, along with Fushigi Yuugi are the first mangas I've ever read. Yuu Watase remains my all-time favorite manga artist.

Lol I don't understand why the Emperor suddenly spoke in that "Eunuch" voice just because he hurt his lower area. Was it necessary to make him creepier?

Oh I thought I had to wait till next week but episode 31-34 is out already. Sweet!

This drama is soooo nice. So calm, relaxing and picturesque. The underlying tone is dealing with the lost of loved ones but maintains its lightheartedness, funny and touching moments. I feel LYF is amazing at these slice of life roles. She brought me to tears along with her every time with her eyes expressions alone. Everyone and everything is natural perfection and it really soothes the heart.

Guess there wouldn't be a climax if he doesn't find out about their secret love affair, altho I don't see it as an affair since the emperor simply forces his one-sided feeling on her and intimidate everyone with his power.

Tell me about it, you're spot on. I got annoyed at seeing his reluctant "dissatisfied but I have to act like I agreed" reaction the entire drama every time someone overrule his ideas in meetings and made a just, unbiased decision. Slippery guy who kisses up to his superiors every chance he gets, that's why he prioritizes getting to the signing event over a passenger who although seem better but health condition was still unknown. No before Cheng Xiao return to the cockpit, he already lied over radio saying " The patient is getting better" deciding not to divert even before he received CX reports on the patient's condition. His only excuse was Singapore was more medically equipped. This ties in with why he tampered with the recording, altho he would not be held responsible according to the rules but ethically speaking his decision did not prioritize a human life above all else, especially his personal gains.

A few questions... I get Jiang Tao tampering with crucial evidence to avoid the public backlash and his chance at be VP, but I'm not sure how he was able to get the higher-up at the other airport to join him on concealing/tampering with the evidence no matter how close they were (Did he bribe him?). Also, there was these two other foreign captains who knew the truth but refused to testify because of their company code? Airlines has some kind of rule against testifying in court or what? Even if they refuse to go to court, can't GNT obtain a video recording of them admitting that Saigon Airport didn't closed at the time? This whole arc is full of holes and didn't make sense to me.

Don't know if its too early to ask this but since its a hit on Netflix, do we get a season 3?
