Bonjour Bakery is a healing baking variety show set in a peaceful rural village. It follows Korea’s first French dessert café for seniors, where heartfelt stories and sweet moments are shared. The show stars Kim Seon Ho, Kim Hee Ae, Cha Seung Won, and Lee Ki Taek.
It will premiere on May 8 on Coupang Play.
Does anyone know if there’s already a page for Bonjour Bakery? I tried searching but couldn’t find one, please let me know in the comments if there is!
okay HOW did i just realize each episode is like 1 hour and 30 minutes on average?? it never felt that long while watching, somehow every episode just flew by so fast. also really kudos to the entire production team for all the effort and care they put into this. this show is honestly so heartwarming. i lost count of how many times i cried watching it alone in the middle of the night… like the quiet, emotional kind of crying too 😭 also yeah… i HAD to binge all episodes in one week, honestly i’m so glad i waited and got to watch it all in one go. and can we talk about the cast?? their chemistry is so good, and i really hope we get to see more guest part-timers joining like this season. and knowing we’re getting the village barber in season 2??? i’m so happy this show is continuing yayy
Youth Over Flowers: Limited Edition is coming! 🌸✨ Starring Park Seo Joon, Yumi, and Choi Woo Shik, this special edition follows their spontaneous domestic trip so no prior notice, just pure adventure! 📺 Broadcasting on tvN 🗓 May 3, 7:30 PM (KST) Finally found the page, in case anyone was looking for it, here you go: https://kisskh.at/808796-kkotboda-cheongchun-rimitideu-edisyeon
this might be an unpopular opinion, but idk why he reminds me of a more mature, serious, older version of Lee Chae-min like he could totally play his older brother. or is it just me who sees it?
I saw he’s on a new travel food show with Ryu Su Young called Ed and Ryu: Mad About Seafood, exploring Korea’s coastal cuisine. Just sharing in case anyone’s interested, it’s on BBC Player.
This is just my personal opinion. I really like Ji Sung and Park Hee Soon, so I was super excited to see them paired together. I loved The Devil Judge and I’ve watched so many of Ji Sung’s dramas since Protect the Boss, so I had expectations for The Judge Returns as well. But I also feel like Ji Sung returned to a judge-type character a bit too quickly. I’m currently on episode 6 and honestly, I want to keep going, but I always end up feeling confused while watching. There are so many names to keep track of, I keep forgetting who’s who. The pacing also feels slow but kind of messy at the same time. Even though revenge stories usually keep me hooked, this one somehow feels dragged out, and I don’t know why. Usually I enjoy law and political dramas, even the more complicated ones, and I rarely complain especially when Ji Sung is starring. But this one just isn’t hitting the same for me. I’m starting to think I might have to drop it 😭 Also, I kind of agree with people saying this drama reminds them of "Again My Life". I remember I didn’t really like that one either because the story just wasn’t for me.
just realized there’s another page for this show (season 3) and it says there will be 13 episodes 🤔 not sure…
wait omg 😭 i literally thought this is season 3, i was so confused like why are there only 4 episodes?? 😭 thanks for explaining though, now i got it. realizing this is just a spin-off and we’re still getting a full S3 later is actually way better lol now i’m excited for both yeayy
Just finished Love on the Turquoise Land and honestly… I get why people say it’s not everyone’s cup of tea. But for me, the story itself is actually pretty interesting. The pacing between Luo and Yan Tuo isn’t that bad, it’s more the hunters vs earth fiends parts that feel slower. I don’t usually watch this kind of fantasy/folklore genre, but I stayed for Chen Xing Xu and Dilraba. Their visuals and chemistry really carried the show for me. My opinion about the ending though… especially with Lin Xi Rou, felt kinda underwhelming? Like, she was built up as this strong and powerful demonous character, but then the resolution was just… “that’s it?” it all wrapped up a bit too simply. It’s a unique fantasy folklore drama with a very distinct aesthetic and slow-burn storytelling, definitely not for everyone. But honestly, I’d love to see Chen Xing Xu and Dilraba team up again, maybe in a modern setting, a Republican-era drama, or even a full historical series 👀 I feel like their chemistry would really shine in something a bit faster-paced too.
wait… it’s already fixed at only 4 episodes?? 😭 That feels way too short. Like, I’m genuinely grateful…
just realized there’s another page for this show (season 3) and it says there will be 13 episodes 🤔 not sure which info is correct yet, guess we’ll have to wait for confirmation. but honestly i’m already excited lol, seeing Dex and Kim Hye Yoon together on this is enough reason for me to tune in 👀, also can already imagine them being busy asking for affection from Yeom Jeong Ah and Park Jun Myun 😂
wait… it’s already fixed at only 4 episodes?? 😭 That feels way too short. Like, I’m genuinely grateful we even got this spin-off, but I was really hoping it would be more than just four episodes 😭
I really wish we could see Lee Sung Min and Hwang Jung Min together on Punghyanggo someday 😭 I swear it would be pure chaos. Their personalities feel kind of similar, so I can already imagine the other three being so confused HAHAHHA.
If you watched season 1, you should definitely watch this too!
First of all, thank you to whoever created this page like FINALLY it’s here, because I really had so much fun watching Punghyanggo 2 on YouTube 😭
Lee Sung Min said he’s an introvert, but… are we sure about that? HAHAHHA. I feel like we get to see a totally different side of him here. Also, his map skills?? So good. You can really tell when they’re traveling with him, they don’t even worry about getting lost at all, they just relax, have fun, and follow him.
Ji Suk Jin is just… Ji Suk Jin HAHAHAHA. The amount of coffee he drinks per day during the trip is actually crazy. That last episode had me laughing so much, him feeling queasy after eating cake + all those cups of coffee before lunch, and then missing Korean food??? I can’t 😭
Yang Se Chan really grew on me this season. He’s such a reliable maknae now, especially as the treasurer. Even though… yeah, he still gets a bit lost with maps HAHAHHA, but honestly that part makes it even funnier.
And Yoo Jae Suk… the way he talks, how he keeps things fun but also makes everyone feel comfortable, he really makes the whole group dynamic work.
Honestly, the combination of all of them is just SO good, their chemistry feels super fun to watch. I also feel like even off camera, their personalities would still be the same, no doubt at all.
it's hilarious you keep going on about how he's "dominant" when he's literally a worthless doormat....…
Yeah, you can disagree, but calling him a “worthless doormat” is a little harsh 😅 I just interpreted his character differently. Everyone sees “dominant” in their own way.
I’m currently on episode 15 and honestly… I didn’t expect to enjoy it this much. Before this, the only dramas…
Why did they suddenly make the male lead lose his memory? I get it was supposed to be some kind of punishment for Huan Er, but then they just gave his memory back at the end… so what was the point? It felt kinda weird, even Gao Hai Ming looked confused 😂
I’ve finished the whole drama now, and I can see why so many reviews talk about the ending. It felt a bit rushed. Like, they never really explained how he suddenly made it to 2025? It’s like some parts were missing, and a lot of the story just jumped without proper explanation.
But overall, I actually enjoyed this drama a lot. It was unexpectedly good! I just feel like some parts were unnecessary… like the second male lead’s death. Especially since he’s actually still alive in 2025, it made that whole part feel kinda pointless.
I’m currently on episode 15 and honestly… I didn’t expect to enjoy it this much.
Before this, the only dramas I watched with Chen Xing Xu were My Boss and Love Between Lines, so I was kind of expecting something similar since he usually plays someone in a higher position. But here his character actually feels a lot more… normal? In a good way. He’s not overly strict or intimidating like those typical cold boss roles. He’s pretty funny, but there’s still a serious side to him too. IMO it makes the character feel balanced and really easy to watch.
And the chemistry between the leads is so cute. Their interactions feel really natural and comical, like two people who could genuinely be friends. I can totally see that friendship vibe on screen. It also makes sense knowing they’re actually friends in real life as well that comfort really shows in their scenes together.
Also, can we talk about Lin Huan Er’s styling? She looks amazing in this drama. I think the outfits are elegant but not overly mature, and she looks classy yet still very natural.
For Gao Hai Ming, I also like how they switch up his hairstyles depending on the timeline. It’s a small detail but means a lot to his character.
So far I like the mix of comedy, friendship, and cute chemistry. Will add more later!
Watching Chen Xingxu play this dominant, controlled character so well really makes me wonder… what if he plays a bad boy or even a villain one day? I feel like he would be insanely good at it. Now I can’t stop imagining him in that kind of role 😂
It will premiere on May 8 on Coupang Play.
