I can't!! At first, there were no promotions and now that they've released posters and teasers I'm just dying for the first episode to air!! I haven't been this excited for a drama just from watching teasers for awhile now!! June 20th come faster!!
Maybe I'm just an easy judge but I'm enjoying it so far (ep8). I'm hoping Yukee's character will have more development though since I want a stronger personality and presence from her. At the moment, she's the sheltered girl and that's fine, but I want to see some growth. Leo's character is outright flirtatious and has such gentle presence that I love it when he starts fighting and wins. I see their chemistry growing but I think itll be better as the story progresses (or I hope it will).
I thought this was a wonderful short drama and actually thought maybe even 5 episodes would've been even better. Loved the meaning and values placed into the storyline and all the actors and actresses played their parts perfectly. Overall, a very satisfying short drama!
So, a few thoughts after being 10 episodes in. I enjoy the storyline. It's original and new, which is great since kdramas can get mundane with their similar clichés - though the truck of doom really does appear everywhere.
The romance? Sorry, I love KGE, but I don't feel the romance one bit. All feels very forced. She's an awesome actress but I think she has trouble with romance genres? Or maybe I haven't seen her in enough - the romance was a no for me in Goblin as well, but I did think it worked with Jung Hae In. LMH is a hit or miss with his costars, this time I say miss.
I do love all the supporting cast members though. Woo Do Hwan is awesome at both his roles and I'm rooting for a relationship for both. Everyone plays their role very well and are convincing! Cast is definitely top notch.
I do find some parts a bit slow, I know they're trying to give us backstory but it makes me skip quite a few scenes, especially since I'm not interested in the romance either.
Overall, so far, I have it an 8/10, but I feel like it could've been even better.
Finally finished, so good! The twist was predictable but I don't care I really enjoyed this show.I do think when…
Same!! I was like, I think he recalled something. When he said, "All those who killed me died a terrible death." That didn't sound like an empty threat. I also want to learn his back story and how he became a cold blooded killer as well as how he suddenly thought he was the detective's son. And who knows, maybe they can bring in the real son in Season 2.
And same, I'm hoping they have a Season 2 planned since the way it ended totally needs one.
I hate every character in this drama except for the teacher and the detectives. The two leads, the bullies and…
I don't hate the main male lead character tbh. Yes, what he's doing to make money isn't the morally correct path, but he's also lying to himself by saying it's a security service so that he can continue to get by all on his own. He's an gray character to me. Not black or white. Also, with a father like his, I'm surprised he hasn't just called it quits, scumbag of a father he has.
Main female lead character, I do dislike. She literally ruined it all and for what? She really didn't have a good reason to. She wasn't in desperate need of money, she craved for affection and distraction from her current home situation and I do feel bad that she has such pressure on her, but she should have done something else to deal with her parents and their expectations that wouldn't cause distress to other's lives. She even used the trainees audio recording to threaten her parents in the end.. the show also let's us know that she is dealing with her own mental health problems though and that's where I falter. It's hard to judge someone when they're going through internally distress. However, her actions were what caused the chain reaction throughout the entire show.
Lastly, I don't care for the detective lady but I feel bad for their teacher. I feel like he tries so hard to lead and trust his students, but to no avail.
I watched this when it first came out and loved it!! I wish actors such as Park Bo Gum, Jung Hae In, and some others that have a 'nice guy' look to them would play more villainous or at least someone straddling the line between good/evil. PBG was soooo good at the cold, hurt, revegeful child that more is needed!!
Enjoying this! Very easy and heart warming show to watch. I already gave a guess as to who will become a couple or ends up liking each other at least. But I love seeing the friendship and the lack of hospital politics in this Drama.
He still has a worm in him?! Hm... I wonder how that would work paired with how Seo Bi mentioned that the newborns don't become infected because their brains have yet to develop. So when would it take over....? And can they just throw him back into water and submerge again to get rid of the worm?
Also, is the dude by the boy's side that guy that was on the toilet? Why does he seem so suspicious?
Another point, the boy's mom is still alive. Either she knows or she's suspects that the boy is her child. She looks a bit suspicious too.
Also, why did the candle blow out in the clumsy man's home?! Is there a traitor in their midst? That just wants to see the world burn?!
And I guess there's no cure for it if you die and are infected, but if you're lightly injured and infected, you cant disinfect yourself? But.... THE CHILD! This does not seem like a very foolproof plan....
Lastly, is Jun Ji Hyun a villain in S3?!?!
So many questions, yet I'll have to probably wait another year to get the answers.
