6 episodes are not enough! I repeat, 6 episodes are not enough; did they have a limited budget to only make 6 episodes or is it some kind of introduction to attract the audience? These 6 episodes make the development of the characters mediocre, especially that of Hijikata. As a main lead, he annoyed me; I think I can’t stand impulsive main leads anymore and still have "main character." I know it’s adapted from a manga, a shonen and that’s the formula but it’s exhausting, even worse when you have 6 episodes of a so-called progression he would have made. Even in his aura, I see no progress. What has he done to become strong? Do we really see his progress? Anyway, honestly I respect Yamada Yuki as an actor but this character, I couldn’t stand it anymore. The only one I thought was interesting but with a few reactions that I found cringe is Serizawa, it’s also because of Ayano Go’s charisma, but his character has something that really shows his aura. And I think that his fight against Soji was the most interesting of the whole series although I liked Yamanami’s techniques. On the other hand, I am angry with the character of Nobuyuki Suzuki, who is supposed to be the leader. What kind of leader lets himself be guided, scolded, and relegated almost to second place by someone who is supposed to be his inferior (I’m talking about Hijikata) because throughout, apart from his build and his rigid face, he hasn’t done anything "real" who deserves to be a leader capable of speaking, yes he is strong with the sword but his technique is not impressive and he does not stand out by his intelligence. Still, some of the characters' arcs are fast; we don’t have time to dwell on them, and that’s a shame. Too bad the cinematography and choreography had everything to please, but I felt that the story was redundant and turned on the spot. That’s a shame.
They should have stopped this drama after the wedding or revealed his father directly after the wedding, all that stuff they stretched to fill their quota of 40 eps was too much. Personally I like the end, not only because I couldn’t take it anymore but because it concludes what he was and what he did, he will now be able to rest. The hand led, although brilliant, to begin to tire me out, always giving lessons. I no longer like the trope of the "protagonist who answers everything, all the time." I found Li Qin pathetic at times, but he made me laugh a lot. I wanted to watch the drama because of the LiCheng and Yimei edits seen on XiaoHongShu and I’m not disappointed, I had a rollercoaster of emotions with them and it was fatal to part with them. I also continued the series because of Yu'er, I love her too much my baby. After the wedding, I wanted to continue seeing how she would adapt and I’m not disappointed. Anyway, it was a very good drama, too bad I had to give him a 7.5 because of the last episodes.
The main character is already getting on my nerves, I don’t know if it’s because I’m at the top of the era LiChengxYimei, but I’m tired of his insistent "savior complex."
Well before watching the drama, on XiaoHongShu, I had already seen the couple LiCheng and Yimei but seeing them in the episodes while understanding the context, I am even more a fan of the couple. Even if we can consider that Yimei has Stockholm syndrome 😅.
I like the fact that romance isn’t one of the central elements of drama, but their chemistry is natural; you can feel that over time they attract each other
I had a great time with this drama. I would have liked to give him an 8, but on second thought, I’ll give him a 7.5 because it won’t be a priority drama for me to watch again. It helped me take the stress out of my exams and I loved seeing YangZi and Elvis (two actors I like) together. The screenplay is excellent insofar as it focuses more on family than love; FL is rational and sometimes TOO intelligent (she always guesses everything and often has answers to everything that can be a bit frustrating), the ML is charismatic without showing any prowess in battle, just how he acts, unfortunately his revenge was not "incredible", it’s more the "karma" and the greed of TB that helped him. Besides, at times I felt like it was too simple, some resolutions just like most of the problems that came one after another to corner the FL and as in a video game to make her go from obstacle to obstacle until she confronts the big boss (Tribute Ink). Apart from these aspects, I am happy with the acting, the cinematography, the music as well, and above all the theme: ink. PS: I would have liked to see the marriage and her life as a matrilocal husband
Finally she left, I couldn’t take any more of that woman. I liked the fact that they didn’t give some kind of redemption to her character, not after all the mess she made for her so-called "family". Thank you
I’m sorry but the first episode really starts as a drama crime, so if she hadn’t had powers they would have left her like that? Thrown in a landfill, and he says it’s his friend. It’s because I saw the videos on TikTok, otherwise I would have stopped. (Well, I’m going to stop being crazy and continue with the second episode)
Can they already banish this fourth aunt, I can’t take it anymore, we’ve run out of time with these demonic plans. She pisses me off. When does she die??? Orh
I like the fact that the male lead is really broke 😂. I think it’s refreshing to see the male lead counting on the female lead. If he happens to become a matrilocal husband, that would be great! I find their chemistry natural (happy that he decides to want to do a second project together)
all that struggle with the Li family at the beginning was worth it 👌4th aunt should be locked up in a mental…
Exactly, I don’t know why the Li family is slow to lock him up, her victim comedy she plays with everyone and doesn’t mention the sabotage she does for her "own", I’ve never seen anything like that. I’m so glad that the problems (well, I hope) in the family stopped, even if other problems will surely happen, especially coming from the Tian family.
