This episode was just *chef's kiss* so that's how it all comes around. Jugyeong's bullies (which Suho helped her with) are connected with Seojun's old gang friends so now they have a common enemy group. Aahh the highlight of this entire episode was the ending! I'll discuss Suho and Seojun in a bit but I love the friends Jugyeong made, to a point where they were able to track down the karaoke place and room just from her video!! And Sujin's fighting skills!!!!! Yes I'm here for it! Jugyeong has so many people who care for her now, and I'm hoping that it will stay the same if and when they find out about her bare face. As for Suho and Seojun, I have no words. No wait, I do, I just can't put them all here ;D BUT AHHH I love how they fought for her and Suho especially he let out his anger like anything!!! He was so worried for Jugyeong, and really gave the gang what they deserved. Seojun, who started liking her, we could see he wants attention too from Jugyeong but she was focused on Suho ;( that made me sad but I'm also glad that Suho and Jugyeong are getting places. And then doing the fight scene to Amor Fati was everything!!!! It also seems that Suho and Seojun are making progress with their friendship... might be small steps but saving Jugyeong together, that's definitely progress. And ahhh I can't with the Seojun shirtless scene!! I swear that's how all brothers act, and Gowoon's reaction was so funny!! He was also so cuute in trying to apologize to Jugyeong, I can't... not only that but the dinner with Suho at Jugyeong's home, that was so chaotic but I loved every second of it!! lastly, I feel so so bad for Suho. He's really suffering, but I feel like he's slowly healing because of Jugyeong. I don't think it's all romance based, but they honestly even as friends have always been there for the other and helped the other through tough times. If Suho and Jugyeong end up together, okay but I wish Seojun can be friends with them and also heal. People need each other to heal. Just like how Suho was there for Jugyeong after the bullies at the hamburger place, perhaps someone should be there for Seojun too. This episode was very nice and I think one great thing the screenwriters do is mix light hearted and heavy parts so it's not too emotional and we can enjoy the rom com aspects. I really like shows like that and Seojun's character is the definition of it. Ugh it starts again, waiting for a week :( hope everyone enjoyed the episode!
I am sorry, but this Cha Eun Woo cannot act. Oh my God. His face doesn't even move. Nor his cheeks or his eyebrows.…
Really? I felt like he did so well and he's improving a lot! The ending scenes were everything! I guess it's subjective and if you felt that way probably others did too, so no need to be sorry about it. Some cried and some didn't so I guess his acting reached out to some people. I hope he'll surprise you further in this drama or in future projects :)
Luckily they are not sticking like glue to the original source, the webtoon is meh, this drama in the other hand…
that's what I'm saying too, the drama is really good and it has good tension while the webtoon is too chill, for the lack of a better word. people should see both as individual works :)
This new episode honestly made me cry, I had to rewatch the last part because it was so powerful :( I'm sorry…
Oh a few more things I wanted to say: 1) This drama is an adaptation and not all adaptions are exactly what happens in the original... if that was the case, there's really not much fun in watching the drama bc we all know how everything will turn out and the only difference is that it's being played by live actors. I appreciate that the screenwriters took creative liberty. So please keep this mind when you're disappointed that the webtoon does not match the drama. It's not really supposed to. And personally, I like the drama a lot more than the webtoon but I still respect the webtoon. 2) Seojun and Gowoon omg! The way he looked at her performance with such a smile and he called her his "cutie" too! I'm really excited to watch their sibling chemistry in the next episode. Can we talk about Gowoon's performance! It was so good, the vocals, the facial expressions, amazing!!! I'm so happy that Jugyeong helped her with her confidence :) 3) I want someone like Kang Su Jin, like what she did when Jugyeong was scared about her previous bullies *chef's kiss* she's so cool and awesome!!! I really hope they don't make her the bad guy here, she's too lovable rn.
This new episode honestly made me cry, I had to rewatch the last part because it was so powerful :( I'm sorry but to people who say eunwoo's acting sucks please see the ending scenes of Ep. 5... it's just so good, I can't stop crying... I'm glad though this episode was a good mix of happy moments and sad moments so my soul isn't completely dead lol... analysis on Seojun's character real quick: I feel like he's also deeply hurt but his coping and defense mechanism is humor. like at the end, he was also sad about Seyeon's song being played and more sad that Jugyeong was with Suho but he brushed it off and played around with his gang... I wish someone will one day hear him out as well... and Suho, boy do I feel bad for his character... his guilt got so bad when he was listening to Seyeon's song being played. That gave me such goosebumps and I really felt bad for his character. On top of that he technically lost another best friend which is Seojun who is angry at him, and no one's really there for him anymore... and when he found Jugyeong, he was worried Seojun will play with her and had to not be friends with her either. Everyone in this is really hurting and I truly hope at the end, they can heal each other. I'm not even honestly worried about the ships anymore, to hell with the ships. I just wish Seojun and Suho can find happiness and heal, and Jugyeong too... those in pain can heal each other the most because they're the ones hurt and knows how pain feels like. This episode just made me really philosophical lol but anyways, amazing episode. Can't wait for tomorrow's shirtless scene of Seojun :P
I've read the webtoon. I dropped this drama after the 1st episode. I've only been cringing throughout the whole…
Yea your opinions are completely valid :) these types of feel good rom com types are not for everybody so it's okay. as the other person said, the drama gets better from episode 2 if you still want to check it out :) do keep in mind though it's an adaption so it won't entirely be like the webtoon since the screenwriters took creative liberty. I honestly like the drama over the webtoon so far but if you like the webtoon and don't want changes, then it's probably not for you :)
who saw the sneek peak clip released by tvn where Seojun sat next to Jugyeong at lunch?! I can't- I'm rewatching it over and over and I just love Jugyeong's response :))) I can't wait for today!
