It is refreshing to watch a drama where the PR guys are the heroes with their job, mistakes, gossips, urgencies,…
I'm starting to feel like that's the point lol. ML's immaturity is probably supposed to be like comedic and to make the drama lighthearted and like a cat and mouse rom-com, and I think it parallels well with the mature FL who's on top of everything she does. I do agree tho about background and complexity, I think we saw bits of it with how he's as an actor, him not smiling at his manager, missing Luca the kid from Africa which show a humane and soft side to him.

MANNN 🥲🥲🥲 F4's ending made me tear up but with tears of happiness 😭😭 that has to be one of the best endings EVER in history. Wow. Wow. THAT WAS SO SATISFYING. I said this before and I will keep saying this: THIS IS THE BEST BOYS OVER FLOWERS ADAPTATION. NO BC THE ENDING PROVED THAT EXACTLY. this version really focuses on their youth and lots of collective parts of their youth not just love. There's friendship, there's familial responsibility, and even within love there's first loves and heartbreak and real love and 😭😭 Gorya's speech at the end really tied the whole show and her youthful journey into a nice little bow. I'm gonna miss this show so much 😭😭😭😭😭 IT'S THE PERFECT ENDING, ONE OF THE BEST ENDINGS EVER.
On F4 Thailand: Boys over Flowers Apr 2, 2022
this is by far the best version of the boys over flowers/Hana Yori Dango series. The others have a few flaws, and this one just seemed like it got together all the versions flawlessly and put em together. First, I love that this version gives depth and character to the obstacles and arcs that happen. I especially loved seeing how countryside farming life was displayed, and how that gave amazing depth and more understanding to how Gorya has been living the year she was gone. It gave awareness to such farmers and truly gave life to the life she has been living. Same with the business/economic crisis aspect we got in EP 15. Other versions hardly showed how much impact in the country that the F4 boys had, other than few scenes of them meeting with foreign partners and all. They always show how rich they are in the country, but in this version, I loved how they showed that Thyme's company (Parama group) has so much influence and power in the country with a live example, the economic crisis he can help solve. Doesn't that just feel like so much depth is added to his character as this billionaire leader? I absolutely loved seeing that. Second, F4 friendship. I think what I'm about to say was said many times in the comment section so I'll be brief about it. Hardly ever we see such bond with male friendships, men crying and men showing their emotions. F4 represented this very very well, and once again it makes them have character and be relatable to us audiences. In other versions, F4 were good but only when it came to issues about love. I didn't feel their friendship bond as much as I have in this version and that's something that I want to see more. I absolutely love how F4 love each other, truly get their privilege in the country and use that privilege for good. They have a life out of chasing love and their future and fate isn't entirely love centered. There's business and career, friendship, and then comes love. That's what I like to see. Thirdly, and this is pretty straightforward, everything is to the point and the pace is amazing. The problems I had with other versions, particularly Boys Over Flowers and the Chinese Meteor Garden is that after a few arcs, the story is soooooo repetitive that it's absolutely boring. A different problem but there's nothing new; they get a problem and they break up, kiss someone else or pretend they hate each other and are bad for each other. With F4 that happened once to stay true to the plot. The second time Gorya broke up with Thyme, although it was similar to the first time, the writers took a different approach with it and it aided in the progression of the story instead of being repetitive. Absolutely love that. Lastly, it's nice to see healthy love and actions being romanticized. You don't need a abusive, push you against the wall, using violence to make you like me male lead to be attractive, and Thyme proved that well. He was like that once (not as bad as other equivalents of his character) but grew well and when he apologized to his victims (something never seen), it makes you think kindness and gentle love with someone like Thyme IS possible. Amazing amazing drama, this was long but that's how much I'm in love with F4. :)

If you've seen other versions I think it's a boy who befriends Gorya to get to Thyme.
I have seen other versions, but I don't remember that. Interesting to know, thank you.

I wonder who the boy at the very end of the preview is. My far fecthed theory is that it may be the guy Thyme bullied in Episode 1. If it is and Thyme apologizes and makes up, that'll be the best closure to his bullying phase. But I'm not too sure.

I truly really hope this show gets a season 2!! 2 more eps left but I need more of these characters :(

I know potato teams hate the ending, but the more I think about it, I think I may be getting what the writer's are doing here, whether it's their intention or not. Though I don't support Na-bi's decision to go back to Jae-eon, I understand at their attempt to show the audience that it's not as easy as leaving a toxic partner as it is shown in like 10 episodes. I always will be Team Do Hyeok, but I like that the ending shows no matter how much you try sometimes, you will have a phase where you can't let go of your toxic partner and keep going back to them. How difficult it can be, and how much they can manipulate you. How mesmerized they'll make you. Whether Jae-eon truly "changed" or not I don't know but Na-bi at least shows me how, for the lack of a better word, addiction to a toxic person can be. The title is Nevertheless, already indicating that Na-bi's story might just be her constantly turning in circles with a toxic person, so it seems like this is kind of a good ending as it I guess becomes full circle, putting us right where we started if Jae-eon indeed is still toxic; which if it was people like him irl I don't think they would change that easily but idk about Jae-eon tbhh

I'm seeing many people saying that this was a boring cliche and cringe drama. This was based on a webtoon and…
Exactly! You said my words exactlyy! People getting angry over it not being realistic?? Like what were you expecting, it's a cheesy rom com and it's not everyone's cup of tea so just drop it?? I personally really liked it, I love cheesy rom coms as such and I thought this one had a good mix of comedy and adolescent themes :) but ugh people's toxic remarks really ruined it for me :( it's like they're being forced to watch it and then complain about it! Like drop it if you don't like it... anyways, I hope you enjoyed the drama :)

Honestly idk why I'm still team Suho and team Seojun, like it's ep. 15 already and yet my heart skips a beat when either of them are on a screen... I really liked the way this drama went, it was such a comfort drama and I was really happy too see Eunwoo and Inyeop's acting as well as Gayoung's :) I wanted to have fun with choosing the ships but MDL and Twt had toxicity :/ but that's another issue. Overall this has got to be one of my favorite dramas and I can't wait for ep. 16!

That is my point, but if Jugyeong in this case doesn't know WHY she should stop hanging out with Seojun, and Suho just tells her not to, that's kinda making the decision for her. All she knows is that Suho and Seojun have beef with each other, but her and Seojun don't. So that's what I'm saying, I feel like she should find about about Seojun's feelings so she can understand why Suho's so angry about her hanging out with Seojun, instead of blindly listening to her boyfriend about it :)

Like TVN always does, they give us happy and goofy moments and then break our hearts at the end. Even tho throughout the episode I enjoyed Seojun and Jugyeong's moments and them with the Im family making dumplings, Suho and Jugyeong's problem + Suho's dad and the car accident at the end were so much more impactful to me. The fact that Suho's dad even had the audacity to come back to Suho to be a better dad or whatever when he doesn't feel a SHRED of guilt for driving Seyeon to his suicide, KNOWING him and Suho are best friends... he doesn't care about Suho at all, and I feel so bad for Suho that he had to grow up with no one but such a toxic father. I can understand the characters a bit more now and I'm actually glad that they're addressing their friendship issue more in the drama than the webtoon. I'm just,,, I'm so pissed at Suho's dad :/ I hope things unravel well by the end of the series.

Would she? I mean if Seojun's feelings ever got out to Jugyeong I'd feel like it'd be awkward at first but they'll probably come to an agreement or Jugyeong would like break the ice or whatever. Or maybe as you said, she might avoid him and be distanced from Seojun. Either way, like you said, she needs to know about Seojun so that she can make that decision instead of the boys making it for her.

Suho's story is like my friend's real life story, his girlfriend goes to another department in our university…
That is true, we do have to consider Jugyeong's and your friend's in this case, changes of heart too. It can't all be about Suho and Seojun and who deserves who, that's why I'm team Jugyeong because her heart gets to pick the person :) and she's still in high school as well so her heart might change many times as just a teenager
