I'm curious, what are your top 3 favorite scenes so far?
1. ep 9 ending scene 2. the library neck grab scene (no not bc its romantic, but well acted) 3. the tangerine scene honourable mention: bathtub scene All the scenes where he's been rejected stuck out because the angst is always turned UP..and junho really shines in them
Not (recorded) historically accurate, but who knows if they take license.. But seems unlikely and redundant to…
i agree with you on the jealousy point - but i can't help but interpret his jealousy as more than just Deok Im gaining Yi San's trust. Maybe it's the way its directed or acted, but I interpret that Deok Ro has some other affection for Yi San
Okay I might be crazy but - from the very early episodes to now I've felt like they've been hinting that Deok Ro actually likes Yi San romantically? I mean it's obvious that he wants to solidify his power by using his sister, which is why he sees Deok Im as an annoyance or obstacle, but I feel like the biggest reason he dislikes her and wants her out of the picture is because she is the one Yi San has fallen in love with and she is the one who has taken his heart. I may be totally off since no one else has really mentioned this, but I got that vibe immediately from the way he interacted with Yi San in the first few eps, and the way his face fell when he saw Yi San embracing Deok Im at the beginning of ep 10....tell me I'm not alone in thinking this lol
I have not enjoyed a kdrama this much in YEARS and i don't remember the last time i've been counting down the days to watch a korean drama. this is further proof that great chemistry is a huge deal breaker, even if a plot may not be exceptional or innovative . the leads are doing an amazing job
this is just a sidenote but out of all the prologues, i kinda appreciated the prologue where 15 y.o LZA finally understood his feelings towards lin yang. since he's portrayed as kind of 'pure' for most of the drama - which is fine and believable too - i appreciated them showing how a real life teen boy would feel both romantically and physically to an older girl he liked
finally got a chance to finish it and i can't stop smiling like an idiot. i love when unexpected dramas/films end up becoming your favourite of the year!. props to the cast and the screenwriter. everyone truly did an amazing job
Yes, me too. Li Yan is the most interesting character that Cheng Yi ever played. I am really excited to see his…
yep, from the trailers we got so far despite the censorship, li yan still seems super interesting - clever, smart, a bit dramatic and a bit mysterious. i can only hope that the plot or editing won't ruin this one for me.
Yang zi or cheng yi, none of their own voices were used in any of their other works? For real??? P.s i don't know…
i know yangzi used her own voice in a modern drama before but i think this is the first time for cheng yi..i haven't watched his old dramas so i'm not sure
