the last 2 eps were great overall but the rescue scene was a stand-out. so so beautifully shot

you're so right about the maturity thing..they act exactly according to their age in the drama (late 20's early 30's), and I love how blunt they both are. they also act how I would expect assasssins who experienced so much in their lifetime to be. they're the perfect match

xu haiqao is such a star. he caught my eyes since LBFAD but I think he was even better here. I hope to see him in a lead role with a good script very soon!

also i'm gonna say it..the sexual tension between xl and xy whenever he bit her was something else omg..it's been weeks and i can't get over their chemistry. i feel like tan jianci also designed the character to be sensual/playfully sexy

the fact that tan jianci said he studied western vampire movies to get inspo from the role too....now i won't be happy until i get it

xiang liu's character just made me want to see a vampire-centric c-drama even more than before

i know gjm has a knack for making his actors/actresses look as beatiful as possible on screen but DAMN i found myself gasping at certain shots of zlh and ysx during the first ep they look breathtaking
