hate how alot of these kdramas with 'unique' plots always start off interesting but fizzles out and is underwhelming by the end. idk why it's like that (i've even seen knetz complain about it). Regardless it was a drama with lots of potential, and both lead and side characters were all so lovable. I'm shocked that I even warmed up to baekyung at the end. So despite it's flaws, the likability of all the characters, plus the 'existential' idea at the core of the drama is enough to leave me satisfied despite the underwhelming ending.
I do not get the baekyung x danoh hype for the life of me. Not only do haru x danoh have better chemistry, but baekyung has been an asshole to her 80% of the time. I know its because he was written that way by the 'writer' and he can't express himself in a healthier way but still...haru is so much better to danoh in every way. Honestly Haru saying "Dan Oh is neither yours nor the writer's. She belongs to herself." alone is enough to show how much better he is than baekyung.
