I agree with you. Wenbo is someone very old-fashioned and dumb in a lot of ways when it comes to girls. But, I can see now he is finally trying so hard to be a good guy/fit to Xia. I find him more stupid when he asks to marry her instead of confessing his love for her. Xia is not that right either, she used to instantly chase him without respecting his personal life. That's why I still think she is more suitable with Lu Feng.
I really love seeing Xu Tan in the university, it is just seeing him in a new hopeful light. He really suffered throughout the show already. I prefer the new girl with him than Lei Lei.

Coz, this is not older woman & younger man romance and their age difference is 5 years. And, Bai Jingting looks so young irl, he could easily pass as 16-year old, lol. Here, they proved that I was wrong. Since the very first episode, they both slayed together or individually. Their chemistry turned out very natural and strong. I even forgot the age difference.
