Later, after 24th King died, Kim Clan needs another King candidate who they could use him as a puppet king. And, kim clan found him and GQD adopted and made him as the puppet King becase of his dumbness (he is faking it). He become 25th King of Joseon, Cheoljong.

Was this drama originally 20 episodes? Or did they add more once it turned out to be super popular??
As far as I know, it was originally planned for 20-episode even before it started airing. Many people doubt it how they make a normal prime time drama with 20 episodes these days. Mr Queen did achieve it. After it gets super popular, they just add a spin-off episodes with Bamboo Forest.
