I don't think so. The King just faked to spend together with Hwa Jin. So, he could step out outside all night while plotting his plans.
And, I am sure Korean Version will not this go far like Chinese Version. Production team claimed that they will go different route from Chinese Version. We can see it already.

I still remember how I watched Boku no Ita Jikan 4 years ago. He really loved to act in some tear-jerker dramas/movies. I watched them all for him. Still can't believe his real life itself was a tear-jerker. He is always in our hearts forever.

Agree! The King and Queen should end up together. Not just because they are our main couple, also because they are really in similar struggles. The King had a miserable life in his whole life till now. Even Hwa Jin is just playing with him, his brother is giving pressures on him not to trust the Queen. The secret So Young and Hwa Jin share is also interesting too.
